Excellent location near stores, ocean center and dock for expeditions. Property manager met us and was very accommodating. Ideal for 1-2 people. Efficiency apartment on lower lev. Very clean.

Diane was on top of communication and even let us know that the room was ready to check in early, thank you!! Place was clean and had everything you needed including beach towels and coffee which was a plus! Tons of Turtles out in front. Quiet and no problems with noise noted. Location right next to harbor so it’s convenient if you want to do a boat tour.
Great location and it is within walking distance to the harbor, ferry, and shopping plaza with restaurants.

This property was perfect for what my husband and I needed for our stay. We had a great time.
It's a great studio condo centrally located to almost everything on the island. The hosts were great and had the unit very well stocked for day excursions and even chairs and small cooler for the beaches. Clean, modern and accommodating. Watching the boats go in and out of the harbor is always relaxing, and catching a whale or turtle is what Maui is about.
Happy with our stay in Maalaea! Diane was very helpful anytime we needed anything. Our bed and pillows were comfortable. Shower was great! Although we only had a hot plate in our room for cooking, we made good use of the pristine Weber natural gas barbecues out front. We met a lot of other guests/owners while we cooked supper, just steps away from the ocean. Everyone was super friendly. The condo/ harbour area is windy but never seemed too bad out front where the loungers were. It’s a great central location that makes it easy to explore different areas of Maui without taking too long to get there!

We had a great time here. It is perfect for couples to come and get away. It’s right on the ocean with amazing views. The harbor is a 5 minute walk and has some excellent restaurants and ice cream shops. There is a whale watching company in the harbor that we went on and saw 10+ whales including babies! There is also snorkeling and fishing charters as well in the harbor. If you have never been snorkeling there is a spot right out front with almost no waves that is a great spot to learn as well. We had a blast and if we come back to Maui we are certain to stay here again.

Great views, clean and accurate listing!! For being clueless to booking a place as far as location, I couldn't of been happier and we will definitely be staying here again when we return to Maui!!

It is windy due to where it is on the island, but I kind of liked that. It is right next to the harbor, so you can watch some of the smaller boats come in. The bed was super comfortable and the A/C was a godsend for the August temperatures. I highly recommend this property.

I was disappointed that the unit only has 1 window that is frosted over, hence making the unit dark even in the day. The unit is a closed out section located in the back of the landlord's unit. At the beginning of my 2nd week I was startled to receive a knock on my door with the person saying, "It's me," and refused to identify himself 2 more times. I was in a compromising position without any clothes on. Eventually, the person said they would be next door. My husband thought that I had met someone on the island as the person refused to say who he was, and this caused great friction between us. I texted the host, and then she said the person was her son. For the previous week, I enjoyed the peace and quiet. That night, it was the loud partying and hearing bottles breaking on the other side of the door. I called the host to tell her about me being uncomfortable, and all she could say was that this grown man (39 yo) was a fun-loving boy, and he's just a baby. The following evenings, I had people knocking on my door asking if that was where the party was. The host said that if it were her, she wouldn't mind if people were knocking on her door. I'm from the Northeast, and that is not what we do. My stay was ruined for the second week. Even the other friends I had traveled with didn't know where I was staying. That's how much I wanted my privacy protected. The host could see nothing wrong with the actions of her son. Needless to say, the second week of my vacation was ruined.
