House was clean and comfortable. Very quiet. Close to Pahoa and short drive to Hilo.

We only stayed overnight but the property was east to find using the directions given, the property was clean and comfortable, and very quiet.
There was a nice screened-in patio but we didn’t get a chance to enjoy it. Even had an acoustic guitar if you want to play a tune or two.
Would be a good base camp to explore the Volcanoes NP and the east coast of the Big Island.

Great experience. We had a blast. Plus, when Melanie realized we had our son here on Halloween she stopped by with a costume and recommendations on community events that just made his whole day. We were just blown away by how great everyone was and can't wait to return.

A little off the beaten path, this place was the perfect way to end a family vacation. Melanie has managed to create a cozy escape. The only thing that would have been nice is something like a toaster oven or air fryer to add to the makeshift kitchenette area, but we made do.

Somewhat remote location, but comfortable and adequate for our one night stay while driving around the island to explore. Communication with host was clear and timely.
