The apartment itself was fine, small bedrooms, full kitchen and a bathroom that was stocked body wash, shampoo and toothpaste. The location was the best part of the trip, literally minutes away from the mall, airport, Bobby Wong Stadium and restaurants. My only small complaint was navigating through the parking lot trying to find BLD 1. Directions should be included on the site, blds 7-10 are on the top parking lot and blds 1-6 are located in the back which requires you to take another street to access. However, I would stay again, if you are just visiting the Hilo side the apartment is conveniently close to everything.
We totally enjoyed the pond with fish and all the ducks and birds.
The unit was as depicted in photos. Clean and well equipped. It is very centrally located within Hilo and has easy access to all surrounding areas. The manager was extremely easy to communicate with and very responsive. I had a small problem while there and it was addressed and fixed within 24 hours. Very good experience.
Flew home to celebrate Easter.
Loved the quiet and lanai on lagoon. The apartment was clean but the apartment complex is old with much weather damage. Beds are comfortable in small rooms. Property Manager was quick to respond to questions. Good info on how to find parking lot and get into apartment. Close to restaurants. Thank you.
Clean and quiet apartment overlooking an extensive, complex-wide koi pond. Fountains, waterfalls, geese and other birds are entertaining, great place to start and end the day. Close to parks and downtownEnormous swimming pool.
Nice place to stay with the family. Loved the location very easy access to the area. Only thing hard to find the building number. But the address to the place that was provided on the site lead us to the building. Will stay again in the future.
Quiet, clean condo. Easy to park a car. Cute pond with koi and ducks. Property manager was very attentive and easy to communicate with.
Hilo Sunshine was a hidden gem perfectly located in the heart of town. Outdoor area was in need of TLC, especially the parking lot. Fish pond and waterfall right outside our lanai was amazing! Was able to walk to most places in 15 minutes. Unit was clean and had all the necessities. Was a good touch having extra condiments and toiletries. Decor was good but some pieces of furniture could use a face lift. Check in was quick and easy though would suggest in the future, an email be sent a week prior to clarify the check in process. Mahalo for sharing the unit. Will be back.
Good location. Great parking lot area. Apartment supplied with everything you need. Property manager was very helpful. The rooms were smaller than appeared in the pictures though. Building was hard to find since there is a wall hiding the number of the building. Great convenient location, close to the main restaurants and stores. It would be nicer to have more seating in the living room, but nice view of a beautiful pond with fishes and waterfalls from the balcony. I guess it would be perfect for no more than two people. We were four adults and it was a little small. Our suggestion would be to replace the bed in the smaller room (pink queen bed) by a bunkbed to have a little more room to walk around the bed.
Overall review is good, clean, convenient location and quite. We would stay there again but just me and my husband. Thank you so much.
