Guests of Waiulaula Villa 322 may purchase resort access to use the Mauna Kea Resort Club facilities during your stay for $180/day in 2024 and $195/day in 2025 + tax, per RESERVATION (not per person). Purchase of this membership includes the following privileges at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and the Westin Hapuna Beach Hotel facilities: Charging privileges at both hotels for dining and activities, access to hotel beaches and pools, use of towels, lounge chairs, umbrellas, reduced golf rates, tennis (court fees apply), use of two fitness centers (yoga and group classes available for a fee), and an access card for preferred parking at the hotel.
Starting April 2024, the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel will be undergoing a major renovation. The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort and all associated amenities, where Wai'ula'ula Villa 322 is located, will *not* be impacted by the renovation and will be open as normal. The Mauna Kea Beach Hotel is not planned to be closed entirely - instead the renovation will occur in sections. We were told the pool and hot tub were included but when we got up the next morning both were cold so we called manager and they looked into it but there was a lock on the pool controls.? Apparently the owners wanted that way I said no way and they took it off the next day. Meanwhile we were without a pool for 3 days. The outdoor patio wasn't very clean. I'm still waiting for my security deposit

We come to the big island at least once a year and frequent the Mauna Kea when we do. We have stayed at many villas over the years and this one has been our all-time favorite! The kitchen was well-organized and had just about everything that you may need. We love cooking and having a well-stocked kitchen is a must. The layout of the villa was perfect for a family gathering. The condition of the house was pristine. We felt very fortunate to be able to rent it for the week!
