Host was great, very informative and responsive to any questions we had. Condo and amenities were great too.

The property was clean, organized, and nicely decorated. The air conditioners worked well. Essentials were provided as well as beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers... The owner responded to any questions quickly. The location was great. Close to shopping and right on the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this spot to others.

We were very impressed with this property in Kihei. Many benefits all around including close to many gorgeous beaches and amenities!The landscaping and pool area is gorgeous providing plenty of activities for a family. It would be great if the ocean front immediately in front of the condo was swimmable but this is easily rectified with all the other swimmable beaches close by. Watching the turtles come to shore during the sunset was a highlight!!! You don't get this feature at many properties. Jackie is a great host and was always responsive and accommodating with communications. Overall, an amazing experience!
We took a family trip to Maui, specifically Maui Sunset to remember Mom/Grandma/Great-Grandma who loved Maui and owned a Condo in the Maui Sunset. Had a great time. The unit was well supplied and clean. The communication about breakage and cleaning prior to leaving felt a little terse - so that was the only deduction.
This property was exactly what we were expecting. It was conveniently located close to some amazing beaches and many dining options. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub right on the property as well.
Living room space is inadequate for six adult guest. Air conditioning does not cool the house. Kitchen is not stocked with enough silverware or pots and pans.
The place was nice but the 3rd bedroom odd not a bedroom. No closet, no door and no privacy. Open air bedroom
If you want a quiet secluded setting with all the amenities but near stores, restaurants and snorkel ready beaches stay here. Great general layout, balcony, awesome internet connection, pool, beach and much more. Loved all the beach supplies like chairs, sand toys, coolers etc. Kitchen had plenty of stuff for our stay and Jackie was a great communicator. They even label all the switches and what they do! The layout of the living room to the kitchen was great for a group to hang out. TVs were great and updated. Easy to connect to streaming accounts. Property is quite large and you feel very secluded. Gorgeous gardens and during our stay they had an herb garden you can pick from for your cooking needs. Elevators were well maintained and had good timers. Close to restaurants, food trucks, and shopping but still a quiet area to stay. Pool has rental area.
FYI the beds are super super soft so if that’s not your jam and you like firmer mattresses you were warned. Bedding quality is typical of rental properties. The only other FYI moment is the third bedroom 1) doesn’t have a door, it’s a curtain 2) had two large cutouts in the wall that open into the kitchen so you hear sounds and see lights from the main living area. We had issues with the person staying in that room being woken up by people who were getting up early/not being able to go to bed earlier than others and not being able to nap. 3) Is quite small. They do have a pull out couch if needed in the living room.
I recently stayed at this property with my family. It's beautifully manicured. We all enjoyed walking the property. They had herbs that we could pick for our own use! There are tennis courts, a small putting area, nicely kept pool and hot tub with jets that we all greatly enjoyed.
The beach on the property is very rocky, so I'd go there to just pick shells and look at the sunset. There are nicer beaches a short distance though you can drive to.
The area is nice, with markets and good places to eat nearby. There was an event while we were there that the property managers notified us about, which was very thoughtful.
The place is very nicely equipped and furnished. It's nice that they made a small area into an extra bedroom, but it does take space away from the living room.
We were very sad to leave, and my kids are already asking when we're returning. Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our stay at Maui Sunset. It was a really nice setting with the amenities and activities we were looking for, and Jackie was a great host.
I had my bachelorette party and it was perfect. We had enough space for everyone to sleep. We loved having multiple bathrooms and also a huge mirror to get ready in. The spot was clean and quiet. Check in was also super easy!!!
My family and I enjoyed a quick trip to Maui and stayed at this wonderful condo. There were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 young children. There was enough room for all of us, and we were quite comfortable! My son and his family stayed in the master suite with an ensuite. There was another full bathroom. We really loved this place!
We loved our stay at Maui Sunset. The amenities for the building were great and toddler friendly. There is live music every Tuesday evening to be enjoyed during the sunset. We saw sea turtles every morning on our walk along the beach - they’re not far from the building - maybe a 5 min walk. We will be back again!
