Everything went smoothly. The place was great, easy stroll out onto Alii Drive, easy to get onto the highway as well. Stayed five nights.
Suited our trip perfectly.

Overall the stay was fantastic. You could not be in a better location. Walking distance to the water, dining, coffee shops and shopping. I had to work while traveling and the internet worked well. The unit was perfect for myself and my husband and thought it could work if we had our teenage daughters with us.
Everything was truly wonderful and we could not have asked for more.
Great location if you want to walk through downtown Kailua Kona every morning (which we did). The amenities are fine especially if you are adventuring out each day to see the island. It's not some 5 star ocean view but it's a good place to park yourself between adventures
The property was just as advertised with a remodeled kitchen, vinyl floors and many items in the closet for use such as beach chairs and an ice cooler. It was a real convenience to be able to walk to town which was just a couple of blocks away for shopping and restaurants. The unit had a great air conditioner and the kition was well stocked. It was great to have a washer/dryer to use. The neighborhood was very quiet.
Now for the down side. The bedroom was a great disappointment! The carpet was very dirty (photos sent to management company), the foam pad on top of the mattress made the bed less comfortable in my opinion, and the linens were either old or of poor quality. Aside from the bedroom issues, the parking structure was undergoing a huge construction project to repair cracking and spalling in the top deck. The top deck parking was closed and the underground portion was a maze due to the huge jacks being used to shore up the upper deck. When I asked the management company about this they seemed completely unaware it was going on.

I had stayed in different condos in Kona Plaza in earlier years. I was sad to see how it had aged.
Our condo was in need of upgrades:
The mattress in the bedroom was not as comfortable as the hide a bed(which was in desperate need of cleaning)
The shower head leaked, the faucets in the bathroom need more of a cleaning than we could give them. When the a/c was on you couldn’t go on the patio from the heat coming out of the heat pump. There was no safe in the unit so you had to take your valuables with you whenever you left. The knives in the kitchen needed sharpening. The scaffolding in the basement was a little concerning.
The condo is very centrally located and the pool was very clean.

nice property. Loved the beach gear included and the screened area for eating breakfast. Great location in the heart of things, but still quiet.

Very close to some nice beaches and restaurants. Would go back again!
Unit is lovely and well put together along with great amenities. However th pool being closed indefinitely was a huge disappointment and was not indicated upon rental. We would love to return once the pool is fixed.
This is the second time we’ve stayed in this unit, 3rd time in this complex. We love the location, within walking distance to all of downtown Kona and beach access. The property isn’t luxurious, but it’s clean, and has everything we need for a comfortable, convenient, and fun stay on our favorite island. Mahalo!
Located in the heart of restaurants and shopping so could walk which was wonderful!! The condo was well supplied and clean, but really does need a new mattress.. washer and dryer in the unit was very useful! Would stay again!!
We enjoyed our stay in Kona and the condo was nicely located close to many restaurants and shopping.
Clean condo and perfect location. Close to shopping, restaurants, and the beach.
