Hale Hui Kai is a low-density, low-profile (four floors) laid-back property, with only 40 units, and only 12 of those directly front the beach. This unit's coveted front-row venue creates the ultimate viewing platform for Maui's legendary sunsets and assures total immersion into the beach vacation lifestyle. Rent paddleboards and kayaks on the sand a hundred yards north, or venture south for the ultimate morning beach stroll, to the famed Wailea Beach Path. You can walk the beach to an array of fine dining options.

The view never gets old from the oversized beach-front lanai, which offers up views of Molokini Crater and Kahoolawe Island.

There is also a refreshing fresh water pool a few feet from the beach.

The unit offers every essential to create your Maui memories. Prepare your island feast in the well-equipped kitchen, outfitted with all the accoutrements and small appliances you will need. Lightning-fast internet (wired or wireless) serves every room, beach gear (towels, umbrella, beach chairs and cooler) and beach gear is included.

The Master Suite is fitted with a high-quality King bed and the second bedroom features a Queen. If you are looking for beachfront views with great beach access, this is the condo for you. The two bedroom condo was just right for our group of two couples. We watched humpback whales at any time of day all week from our lanai/balcony. The kitchen had just the right amenities for a weeklong stay. Check-in and checkout were a breeze. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area. Mahalo!

This was our 2nd visit to this unit. The 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed it, again. The unit looked north and west for a great view of the beach below. AC in both bedrooms. The unit is a little dated, but that didn't bother us. Great place !

First time user of Vrbo and this property. Property was as expected via its online presence and more. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of waves each morning was the lullaby needed. Balcony with a Gorgeous beach front view for morning breakfast & picture perfect sunset experiences was our favorite part. Would highly recommend this property and revisit in the future.

Hale hui Kai is a small group of condos right on the beach. The condo itself was clean, and well stocked with a full quality kitchen, plush bath towels, beach towels and beach towels and umbrellas. There are TVs in every room, and a lovely close up view of the ocean. The condo itself is decorated in a lovely Hawaiian style . The pool was unheated but pleasant after a few minutes to adjust to a cooler water temperature. Overall, I'd recommend unit 313 due to its excellent location to the water, with swimming and snorkeling right outside the unit. I would have given this unit a slightly higher rating except that it did not have air conditioning in the living room/kitchen area, (which most of these units dont have). the 2 bedrooms did have A/C however. We would definitely rent this lovely condo again.

Just two points of clarity that we missed up front: There is no air conditioning in main living areas. The living area and kitchen can get very warm - especially when cooking. Keeping the front door and patio doors open does cool the place off but how quickly will depend on the wind direction (which does change often.) This should NOT be a dealbreaker for anyone considering this place by any means, but guests should be aware. Bedrooms have dedicated cooling units that were more than adequate for sleeping comfortably at any desired temperature. Laundry machines are not inside the units but are instead in communal laundry rooms on each floor. There are plenty of machines and even an easy app that lets you know when your laundry is done and when other machines are available. We were worried when we arrived that this would be an issue, but it was super easy to use and nobody in our group complained. Outside of these items, the rental was PERFECT for our stay and the rental company was incredibly responsive. Quiet area, wonderful community feel in the building with other renters and owners, super clean building, steps from snorkeling, minutes from various adventures, and sitting on a pristine beach with sunset views from every room. 100% would recommend and return without hesitation.
