Poipu Makai B3 is located on a bluff a couple of yards from the water with stunning, full uninhibited views of the ocean. Enhance your senses – the visual beauty of the waves crashing against the shoreline and the gentle sound of the living and breathing sea. Spend hours counting the turtles swimming at your doorstep or the whales and dolphins playing or breaching while you relax surrounded by tranquility and peacefulness on the large lanai. Your oasis is only a half-mile walk to world renowned Brennecke’s Beach and Poipu Beach where you can choose to play in the water next to sunning sea turtles, snorkel or surf.
The 1450 square foot 2 story townhouse underwent a complete renovation which was finished in June, 2022 in order to make your stay even more comfortable, a home away from home. The townhouse is situated to take advantage of the coastal breeze which incessantly permeates throughout the unit. Air conditioning is available in all 3 bedrooms and the family room for warmer days and nights. The two master bedroom suites are privately situated with King sized beds and their own en-suite bathrooms. The exceptionally large second-floor master bathroom has a walk-in shower with a separate large soaking tub and a beautiful spa-like atmosphere. The third bedroom on the first floor, with its own private lanai, can be arranged as two twin beds or configured as a King bed as you choose.
The sunlit kitchen faces the ocean and is adorned with new grained wood cabinets, contrasting black granite countertops and contemporary stainless steel appliances. Eat your meals al fresco with an unobstructed view of the ocean on the large solid natural wood dining table steps outside the kitchen. The adjoining oversized family room has a large sectional where everyone can relax after a fulfilling day exploring the island. New comfortable furnishings offer a contemporary Hawaiian flare with up-to-date technologies – 3 smart TVs, the highest-speed internet on Kauai and a Sonos surround-sound system to listen to your playlist. An architecturally impressive spiral staircase connects the family room with the large loft, a small oasis in itself.

We absolutely loved staying here in B3! We were close to restaurants, market, and best of all the ocean….Which provided whales and turtles ❤️
The master bed and bath are updated and clean.

This is one of our most favorite VRBOs we have stayed in. The ocean views are simply gorgeous! We watched sea turtles and whales from the patio every morning, incredible! The condo was very spacious for my family of 5 and it had everything we needed. It was in a great location too! Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful time in this gorgeous waterfront penthouse. Perfectly appointed. Six adults stayed very comfortably here. The property manager was very responsive to every single request. We will be back!

This spot was perfect for our family vacation. The location and property lavish and were in setting with amazing ocean view and view up the coast, with a perfect sunset after a long day exploring the island. The kids also loved watching the turtles swim from the balcony.
The club access also made for hours of fun while keeping active even on the days we didn’t want to drive much. It was pretty great.

The townhouse is spacious and, as pictured, has the most striking view of the water, turtles &dolphins included. Inside, everything is comfortable, modern &clean. The interior is well-decorated, &no detail was overlooked, from the thoughtful welcome basket with coffee &wine to the kitchen cabinets that are fully stocked with spices, cookware &appliances. We especially appreciated the strength &efficiency of the AC units during peak heat outside!
The beach is a short & scenic walk away - under 8 minutes - & the townhouse is conveniently stocked with everything you might need for a day lounging out by the water: umbrella, chairs, beach wagon, & more. In the early mornings & afternoons, you can catch sea turtles & seals lounging on the sand!
One of our favorite perks was the access to the Athletic Club. The amenities were beautiful, & there is ample opportunity to relax poolside after a workout. I enjoyed playing tennis on the outdoor courts, & the food & drink menu at the club grill is expansive & delicious.
However, by far, the most special part of this trip was the townhouse itself. The location & amenities absolutely can’t be beat, & the complex itself is well-maintained. Situated peacefully on the bluff, you can spend hours out on the lanai, soaking in the view & luxuriating in the ocean breeze. No need to feel pressure to pack your day with activities to maximize your time on the island - everything you need is directly at your fingertips. It's truly an oasis at home.
