    Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.     Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was I satisfied overall: this being my 30 odd trip to Hawaii, I can say I’m never dissatisfied with a trip there. Was I satisfied with the property’s general condition? No. The property is in need of a complete overhaul and renovation. I would say it’s not been updated basically since construction in early 90’s. Carpeting throughout (except in kitchen and one bath) with many stains. Tile in kitchen had numerous black marks, which I think were chips from stuff being dropped on the tile) making it appear dirty. Closets filled with stuff. Pantry locked so, even though I was staying for 3 weeks, had no place to store food stuffs. Was I happy with property location? Absolutely. Have stayed at the Palms many times and it’s always a beautiful property. The view from this condo was quite nice. One of the best in the Palms.Was the property clean? Needs a deep cleaning.Was the property management company professional? Yes and No. We had two problems: upon arrival, the air conditioning was not working (being a ground floor unit, we were uncomfortable leaving the sliding doors open for a breeze). Fairly hot for two days before they had someone come out. Later, I learned they knew they had a problem from before, yet had to go through two days of back and forth before they fixed it. Also, the washing machine, which seemed like original equipment, broke and had to be replaced. Spotty communication over 4 or 5 days to get new washer installed. After two weeks, I decided to call and talk with one of the managers and just reviewed everything with him. Told him I understood the issues of cleanliness, clutter, etc were the owner’s responsibility, but wanted to know how much they were aware of. Invited him to come look at the place. Without my saying anything, he said it seemed some compensation was due and he asked that I give him a day or two and he’d call me back. After 5 days, I called bac

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our unit was so beautifully situated with a gorgeous view of the ocean and the garden- it was clean, quiet and beautiful. All amenities were provided. The unit was spacious and the deck and bbq outside were a bonus. The pool was never busy and clean and also very beautiful. We will definitely come again!
