Dreaming of being steps from the best surf and snorkel beach in Kona? Craving an oceanview pool within an arm's reach? Well get ready for a face-to-face intro to a 100-year old Sea Turtle and our "Surf and Swim" Condo.

Whether you are 3 or 93, we have a lovely & comfortable 3-bedroom home that you will remember as a vacation of a lifetime. Recently purchased, refreshed and scheduled to be renovated in September 2022, our new "Surf and Swim" condo is right across the street from Big Island's best snorkeling, surf and sight-seeing! Known locally as Snorkel Beach or Turtle Beach, Kahaluu Beach is home to over 100 species of tropical fish, green sea turtles & the perfect launching point for your next Hawaiian vacation.

Snorkel to your heart's content under the guided eye of lifeguards, learn to surf or paddle board, or just relax & catch a few rays. Once you're done, walk across the street back home to Beach Villas at Kahaluu, where you can rinse off in the stunning infinity pool, soak in the jacuzzi hot tub, or enjoy a morning coffee or evening dinner from your private open-air lanai.

You'll be treated to picturesque Kona sunsets and beautiful views of the Kona coastline every single day! Built in 2005-2007, the units here at Kahaluu Beach Villas are amongst the newest & most sweetly decorated oceanfront units you'll find in Kona today.

Unit is ~25-minutes away from Kona International Airport (KOA) in the beautiful Keauhou resort area. Keahou is only a 10-minute drive away from central Kona town, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Many celebrities make their homes in the hills above our condo development, and our location is centrally located to most major tourist attractions in/about Kailua-Kona.

The development has plenty of free parking (21 unassigned spots for 21 units) on premise. In the unlikely event the lot fills up, there is plenty of convenient street parking along the small side street (Makolea St.).

The location was pretty good, close to a great snorkeling area. But that reef can be dangerous, we saw lots of people with cuts and wounds on their legs. The condo itself was clean and nice. The Lanai was great for morning eats, and it had a great view. The kitchen is packed with essentials, it’s just what you would expect in a vacation rental. The place is rock solid for 4-6 people. Parking was plentiful and easy. Things we were less than impressed with.. The floor wasn’t clean, our feet were gross within minutes just walking around inside. After a showers with kids we tried to dry the floor with the towels, and they came back quite gross. There was lipstick on a few of the dishes and cups. Nobody had washed the coffee maker in ages, pretty nasty inside. I wish there wasn’t a lock on the fence/gate blocking the ADA access. Super annoying to carry our buddy and his wheelchair, and our kid and the stroller up and around and down the stairs if we didn’t bring the key to the pool and gate. Seriously, why lock it? It doesn’t add any security when you can just take the scenic route. And I wish they mentioned that they were planning on painting the building a bit sooner. If I’m paying the cleaning fee, I’d expect it to be a lot cleaner.

Great place to stay, we had a fantastic time here. 5 adults staying here and we all had plenty of room.

We stayed here for a family trip and really enjoyed our time. It’s a bit outside of the center of Kona but has easy access to a great beach for snorkeling. The property was clean and spacious with a nice lanai. We also enjoyed the on-site pool.

This condo was wonderful. A nice three bedroom with Lanai to sit at and look at the beach and sunsets. The beach across the street has really good snorkeling right when you get into the water. One of the best on the island. Nice and quiet and you can hear the waves at night. AC works good. There were a lot of helpful items for visiting the beach (snorkel gear, beach chairs, towels, ice chests, sand toys, etc). Right down the street from a good marketplace with restaurants. Good location to everything.

The location was great. Unit has everything you could need for a family ( high chair / pack n play / pool gear for infants and kids/ floaties and life jackets/ snorkel gear for children and adults/ beach gear / cooler / etc. Well stocked kitchen with all the appliances and good pans. Beds were ok but cotton sheets would make it better since memory foam runs hot. The few complaints I have I fixed myself and I would stay here again. The unit is outdated and dark but the beauty of the beach and sunset across the street made everything better.
