Location, location, location! This condo is a true gem! Not only is the location amazing, Scott ensures that your stay is comfortable, and you have all necessities, basic and beyond! Quiet, clean, safe and comfortable, this condo is well appointed with all kitchen utensils and cookware, snorkeling, supplies, toys, for kids, etc.. Check in was easy, and Scott was very quick to respond to any questions. I would highly recommend this wonderful condo! Mahalo, Scott!
This was a great place to stay with my family. It had two bedrooms, plenty of places to sleep, kitchen and restaurants nearby. We were right in the middle of town. Scott was very responsive and helpful the entire time.

This was even better than we anticipated. Not only was it comfortably spacious for our family of four with two teen boys, but the full size parking spot and proximity to the downtown Kailua Town and Safeway/Walmart can’t be beat. The host thought of everything from extra fans to coolers/chairs, to a well-appointed kitchen and big island guide book. Having AC in bedrooms was key!
Super convenient space in the heart of Kona! The host Scott was very responsive and prompt with messages. Pros: onsite designated parking stall, lots of sleeping configuration options, AC units in the bedrooms and strong fans in the living room, all silverware needed (plus water bottles for a beach trip), and tons of beach toys, boogie boards, tabis (water socks), cooler, beach chairs, etc. Small touches like sunscreen in each bathroom cabinet or amenities like floss and toothpaste made it feel like home. We did not have anything negative to say. The location is only a couple blocks from Safeway and a short drive to Costco. 10/10 would recommend!
I can’t say enough about this wonderful property. I would have given it more than 5 stars in all areas! Super clean, super comfortable and a perfect location. The space had everything you would need for your stay - lots of beach toys and a well equipped kitchen. We were able to walk to dinner while there, which is a plus. I highly recommend staying here!
This place was perfect for our family (2 adults & 2 children). They had so many extra things available for guest use. To the owners: It would have been nice to have measuring cups and spoons. Also, the circular fan was missing a knob on one side. It still worked great, just might be a good idea to replace.
Communication with the host was great, the place has all the amenities. The air conditioning was refreshing after a day in the sun.
Thank you for providing the perfect resting place for our trip to Kona. Check in was smooth, communication was fabulous and fast! The rental was clean and spacious for the four adults in our party. The rooms and beds comfortable and the in room AC was great!We found a lovely welcome basket and drinks waiting our arrival. You are close to all of the shops, eateries etc and beaches. We enjoyed our morning walks through town and the farmers market. Thank you so much for making our stay so comfortable. We will highly recommend this rental
The location was perfect to walk to restaurants and breweries. And sunsets! Appreciated the parking spot, great communication and use of the beach towels.
Really enjoyed the apartment. My husband and friends worked the first part of the week in Hilo then we went to Kona to explore. Apartment is within walking distance of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed and we hope to be back soon
Enjoyed our stay here. The location is convenient. It is clean, well kept, and the host was responsive. Would definitely stay here again.
Fantastic location and a very available (through VRBO messaging) host who responded very quickly to our needs/questions. Great place for two couples. We had our own bathrooms and bedrooms which had room air conditioners that we appreciated. Also, we could walk to anything we needed.

Had a good time. Outside of some glitches, (re: main door lock, tv, disconnected ac air vent), we had a great time. It was very comfortable and the amenities were awesome. Thank you so much!! Mahalo to Scott for always being available. I would definiyely recommend this unit for travellers to Kona.
The host was extremely responsive and friendly. Two major issues with this place: the AC is in the bedrooms and not very cool, it was hot at night. The master bathroom, no hot water and the water trickles cold water. The other bathroom had warm shower.
It was very clean and tidy, no issues at all with checking in and checking out.
Good value. Not fancy, just a condo. Exactly what we wanted because we didn’t need fancy or the extras
We chose this VRBO based on number of beds and baths in addition to price and location. It ticked all the boxes for us. It’s not fancy but it felt safe and saved us so much money and headache to not have to deal with parking! Grocery stores were close by. Kitchen had what we needed to make a few meals and save a little more by not eating out. Average cost of meals is $25 per person with a drink. Closer to $50 per person if you enjoy a beer or cocktail with your meal. Would consider this apartment again should we return to the Big Island. Mahalo!!
The property was very spacious and walking distance from the beach and shops. However, it looks run down and/or dirty. The bathroom fan for example had a thick layer of dust and a visible layer of dirt in the sink as if they haven’t been cleaned in years. The tub and shower doors also looked dirty. The toilet seat is visibly very stained and missing paint and is in desperate need of replacement. Also, the chain on the toilet flusher is broken and we had to use a rubber band for it to work. There is only AC in the rooms so the heat in the living room and kitchen is unbearable.
