Wonderful condo on the ocean with pool and spa. Close to everything.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The space was clean, and well thought out. I especially enjoyed the balcony with the view of the ocean. The kitchen was stocked with many useful pieces of equipment, and storage. There were a few spices. We left some oil spray behind. They had beach chairs and a cooler, which we used often for the beach. The pool and hot tub were great. We used them often, and there were outdoor showers to rinse for the pool and I used after walks along the beach. There was a close farmers market that I walked to in the morning. As well as an outrigger canoe tour group which was on the other side of the condo building. They were great. There are many great grocery stores and restaurants and beaches within a 10-20 minute drive. There was just one peculiar thing that happened in the late afternoon when the winds picked up. There was a bad smell that was coming from a drying pond that was near by. We just stayed inside at that time. It lasted for a couple of hours, and when the wind stopped it went away. It would t stop me from staying there again.

Modern, airy, very well equipped condo with comfy bed. The most modern of 10 or so we have stayed at Sugar Beach. Good communications but a plethora of extra steps and processes meant it felt like a chore. Some noisy construction work next door started at 0930 when we were trying to have a lie in but they have that noted in the T and Cs. The biggest and by far bug bear was the place was just not cleaned in places. The first thing you see is a grubby sticky outside front door, hair and dust balls on the floor, long Black hairs in the bathroom and I don’t know how long it’s been since the sofa had been moved - spiders, dust and goodness know what lurked. The resort remains a favorite though the beach sand can be a little small grained and this can cause the water to appear Brown or gray even after a long dry period with no run off. Would we come back to this unit, sure. But the letting and maintenance agency needs to step up the cleaning quality and their Canary software can’t handle late check outs. There was some form or arcing interference to wide and Medium wave radio reception after 1032pm every night probably from a faulty or non bonded roof top Solar charging system that has been operational for years. This was repeatedly (on the phone and at their desk)reported to the resort manger but nothing ever happened I could see - they never called me back even after repeated requests. iI fear the worse.
We have never stayed in Kihei before and will do it again. Great location and great resort. Right on the beach and had a beautiful view. Thank you for a wonderful vacation
First time to Maui and we found the condo to be exactly as represented with a terrific view! It was clean and well appointed. Modern upgrades. We also thought the pool and hot tub were great. Easy access to everything!
Great location close to everything. The condo was very clean and very well appointed. Enjoyed watching the sunset each night from the beach.

There was blood on the lania that I had to clean after spotting it next to my barefoot!! Biohazard and unacceptable! 2 of the 4 beach chairs were broken. There s between 1-2" of dust clogging the bathroom fan, which is a complete fire hazard! The walls and door frames were actually black from dirt that had been there for quite some time. I took our first afternoon cleaning and wiping down every surface. I am not sure why we waited for housekeeping after our early flight and would much rather have been allowed early access since the room was obviously not cleaned. I attempted to relay all of this to the person who called regarding our ckeck out, but she simply said sorry and never noted any of the feedback. I believe the owner should and would want to know this information!

Fantastic place and location! Condo was clean, modern with every amenity needed. View from the balcony was like a postcard! Great beach right out front, not busy as we could always find lounge chairs anytime we went down. North end of Kihei which meant we had to drive to shops/restaurants but it was quieter and not nearly as crowded. Loved every minute of it!
Great, clean and well appointed property. The view, view, view on the lanai!! Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare and serve food with. Had essentials for cleaning supplies as well as laundry to get you by till going to grocery store. Top floor, right on beach directly facing the ocean. Listening to waves crash on beach while enjoying the lanai relaxing with coffee or other drinks. Ali’i resorts management company was superb! Thanks to Susan, Kimmie and Jamie for answering questions and helping us be able to enjoy the lanai as another unit was smoking on theirs. Being a non smoking property was a plus and having the issue resolved quickly once we figured out which unit was being inconsiderate to all was a relief to help the ignorant understand the property rule’s that each guest has to sign-off on, especially with being allergic to smoke. Great condo exactly what we hoped as the pictures on the listing do not lie beautiful. As they say here live with aloha and all will be great!
