Kaha Lani Unit 129 is a beautiful ocean view home away from home. The spectacular Pacific Ocean is steps away - you will hear the sound of the waves and feel the trade winds blowing through your hair.
Kaha Lani means 'heavenly place'. As you approach the Kaha Lani you see the beautiful architecture. The Bali style structures (large pole and large eves) have a beautiful presence in their natural setting. Surrounded by tropical green and open space, the Kaha Lani is like no other on Kauai. This unique surrounding creates a quiet and peaceful setting- very tranquil. To the north of the Kaha Lani is Lydgate, an oceanfront State Park with (2) sheltered lagoons which have beautiful fish and ocean life. They are perfect for snorkeling and swimming. There are many picnic areas at Lydgate. This is a short walk from the Kaha Lani about (5-7) minutes or you can use the bike path. And next door to the south is Wailua Golf Course, rated one of the top municipal golf courses in the nation. This beautiful course is within walking distance and creates another natural buffer to the Kaha Lani.
Walking into this fully self-contained ground floor end unit condominium, you will be in awe at the spectacular views directly from the lanai. This unit #129 offers some of the best privacy on the property. It is the end unit on the last building to the North, with the neighbor being County Park on the other side of the fence. This building is only 2 stories tall (most are 3 stories) so the overall traffic is low on this end of the property. The yard along the side of this unit is essentially a private yard as nobody has any reason to go there. The paved lanai is the full width of the condo, but the grass yard is even with the lanai surface, essentially making the lanai space as large as you need it to be.
You are also able to enjoy a heated swimming pool, outdoor barbecues, and tennis courts where you can play a good game. We had a wonderful stay at Kahalani! This condo was well stocked inside and out! Comfy beds, plenty of linens, all of the beach accessories we needed including a nice cooler, boogie board, toys, chairs. It’s the little things that this host nails, like having ziploc bags, foil, more than just the basic spices, plenty of delicious coffee, nice detergent and well working in unit laundry. Plenty of fans, although we never felt too hot here. Very pleasant stay. We loved the proximity to the beach. The beach in front of Kahalani felt safe for our 7 & 3 year olds to enjoy with us, but the body surfing was really fun for the adults. And, bonus, we had the beach to ourselves. It’s a great location for people that like to enjoy the North and South Shores without having such long drives to either! We will be back!

We stayed in the condo in August 2023. The condo is specious, very well stocked with all of the necessities. The owner is nice and responsive and wants his guests to have the best experience. The beds are big and comfy. The location is unbeatable - few minutes to the beautiful calm beach where you can swim with fish. We had a wonderful time, Thank you!

We stayed in the condo in August 2023. The condo is specious, very well stocked with all of the necessities. The owner is nice and responsive and wants his guests to have the best experience. Perfect location for a family vacation. Right next to Lydgate beach park which is great for kids and the amazing Kamalani playground. Just a few minutes away from grocery store/ restaurants. Super easy check in and check out process. Nice private unit on the end with very little foot traffic. Very spacious for 3 adults and 2 kids. Our kids loved the murphy bunk bed! It was really nice to have a full size washing machine and dryer in the unit, especially when you have little kids. The full size kitchen was stocked with the essential appliances, dishes, etc. Lots of beach gear in the closet for us to use which was really great! We would definitely stay here again.

The property was perfect. We enjoyed walking down to the ocean to watch the sun rise with my cup of coffee every morning. The kids enjoyed the protected beach for snorkeling just a short walk away. The kitchen was better stocked than any VRBO I have ever stayed in. Thank you!
