    We just installed two brand new A/C units to make the unit even more comfortable during your stay. Our luxury unit D206 is a 1 bedroom condo at Luana Kai. It has been meticulously remodeled with tile floors, updated kitchen/bathroom, and all new furniture. We strive to achieve a welcoming and thoughtful retreat for your stay in magical Maui.

    Luana Kai's resort amenities include a clubhouse with a full kitchen, multiple BBQ's, a heated saltwater pool, jacuzzi, dry saunas, putting green, lawn games, ample parking, and neighboring community tennis/pickleball courts. At night, tiki torches illuminate the pool area, adding to the tropical atmosphere of the meticulously kept grounds.In addition to the 1.5-mile-long beach in front of Luana Kai, there are more than a dozen other sandy coves and beaches nearby along the arid south Maui coastline. Within a few minutes, drive are the lovely postcard-perfect beaches of Keawakapu, Kamaole II, Kamaole III, Charley Young, and Sugar Beach. Maui boasts more miles of accessible beach than any other island in Hawaii with over 80 beaches spanning 30 miles that include white, black, and rare red sand beaches.

    There are many great restaurants near Luana Kai. Our favorites include Coconut's Fish Cafe, Monsoon India, Nalu's South Shore Grill, Wow Wow Lemonade (go there for the acai bowls), Miso Phat Sushi, Home Maid Cafe (the best malasadas) and Maui Pie for dessert. If you prefer to cook, there are a few grocery stores close by and 5 grills on site.

    Our vacation rental only provides beach chairs as a complimentary amenity for our guests. We do not provide any other beach essentials, such as snorkel gear or umbrellas. Guests are welcome to rent them from local vendors nearby.

    Very nice and clean property with good sunrise views of West Maui mountain and outstanding sunsets over the south end of Lanai. Close to pickleball courts but that did not bother us. They did not start till 8am. Lot of people walk their dogs at the park which was nice to watch.

    We LOVED our stay here!! The unit was beautiful, comfortable bed, & an amazing view! The property was relaxed and well maintained. Everyone we met were a joy to talk to. We will definitely be back.

    The property was updated and super clean with just steps to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and activities. A cooler, beach chairs etc were also provided which made the stay that muvh nicer.

    This condo is nicely updated with a convenient location. We drove to the nicer beaches to the south for the afternoons, but you can still enjoy this beach for morning walks and sunsets! Great communication with the management; and check in and out process was easy. The condo was clean and comfortable! The pool is great. We only stayed 4 nights and then stayed in a hotel in West Maui, but we wish we would’ve stayed in a condo the whole time. Washer/Dryer and kitchen is the way to go. It didn’t bother us, but the pickle ball courts are heavily used in the mornings after about 9am and happy hour time so you will hear the constant dinking of the balls during those times while sitting on the lanai.

    Even though the property itself was a little dated, the unit was updated and even cleaner than I expected! Very well stocked with everything we needed to cook and hang out. Loved being so close to the pool and the beach!

    Loved this unit! The owners did a nice job on the remodel. Beautiful ocean views, in a great complex. Unit is right next to the pool and pickle ball courts. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook a nice meal. While there was no A/C the sea breeze and the brand new wall fan in the bedroom did a fantastic job cooling the condo for sleeping.

    Fully updated property with everything you will need. It was nice to have quality kitchen equipment. BBQ grills by the pool were perfect for our catch on our fishing trip. While there is no AC, the tradewinds provided aceptable sleeping. We did not spend time in the condo during the middle of the day when it was warm. We are from Florida and can handle a little heat, happy with the lower humidity!
