I've stayed at this resort before. The grounds and accommodations are wonderful. This condo was as advertised with a partial ocean view, on the 4th floor. My neice and I were very pleased and the bed was big enough for us to comfortably share. I love the location, for us it was perfect
Great place! Pools were nice and close to store across the street! Sunsets gorgeous on the beach. Plenty of walking paths near.
The condo was ok. The couch was uncomfortable to sit on and the bed was ok. The appliances in the kitchen need some TLC.

Love the property. Our room was on the side where there is a parking lot and was on 4th floor with a bit of ocean view. Liked it, other than we were over the delivery area so there was a lot of activity during the day in the lot directly below us. Would be better if our room was further down closer to the water to avoid the delivery truck sounds. That is the only thing we will change when visiting in the future.
We arrived on Christmas Eve. My son , his wife and their two teenaged sons had supper with us and hosting them was easy—seating , place settings, enough of everything. It’s a sweet place and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.
This is the second time in the last 2 years I have stayed at this resort. I absolutely love it here. The unit I stayed in was perfect. Very clean and everything I needed. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this propery in Maui. The condo was beautiful and the kitchen was well equipped. We liked the location of the condo on the property as it was quiet, but close to everything. Would definitely rent this unit again.
Really pleased with this condo. From the upgraded design to the comfortable bed and linens. It was the perfect place for our little family to stay at. So glad we chose this place and the resort itself had all the things that we needed. Would not hesitate to come back to this condo and this resort again.
The place looks great, modern design: furniture was clean; bed was comfortable; linens are nice and soft. The pull out sofa is not very comfortable though, the mattress was thin and you could feel the springs through the mattress. Otherwise the place was great for a family of 4.
Overall impression of property, no music at pool unless asked to turn it on, no live music like it was advertised, no torches were lit most nights, grounds not well kept.
We have been coming to Maui for over a decade and always stayed at our Hyatt timeshare. We decided to take a last minute trip to Maui and we chose to stay at a private condo at Kaanapali Shores. Overall, the building is very conveniently located close to many local shopping in west Maui. The building has quite a number of stores with lots of activities. The single bedroom unit has a great setting with partial oceanview. The inside was very clean and has everything we needed for our short term stay. All in all, with a cost a fraction of Hyatt, has nothing less than Hyatt and strongly recommend this location.
