The family had a great and the property was very nice and close to the pool.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable
Our family of five stayed there for six nights and had a great time going to the pool and visiting a few beaches locally. Having the Hilton pool pass was huge, gave us three days of fun at an amazing resort.The unit was clean and had everything we needed.
This is a professionally managed condo in a resort area and is exactly as generically "nice" as you'd expect it to be. Great Wi-Fi and fast internet. Much better than average TV setup in (20-ft vaulted ceiling!) living room (and TVs in all bedrooms). Four bikes; boogie boards; beach chairs; umbrella; beach wagon; snorkels; fins and much more beach equipment. Fully equipped kitchen. Ultra soft beds (too soft for us - c'est la vie). All in all, while we could quibble about specific aspects of the place, there is nothing worth mentioning -- it's a nice place with nothing objectively wrong or bad about it.
The Hilton Pool Pass is curious. The actual pools are only worth it if you have very small children -- they are a water park for people who've never been to a water park. But the salt water lagoon has surprisingly great snorkeling. We saw sea turtles, manta rays, many reef fish, needlefish, and even a few barracudas! There's a Dolphin Quest exhibit, too, if you're into captive dolphins performing.
The Hilton Beach Resort area feels like a theme park version of the "real" Hawaii. The restaurants are all tasty, but expensive and corporate. Good local restaurants are a 30 minute drive away (recommend a take-home poke bowl from a KTA Grocery and a mix plate from Ippy's in Waimea). Stay in Hilo if you want to immerse yourself in an authentic Hawaii experience, that'll be a little messy. Stay here if you want a curated generic tropical island experience where everything is "nice".

Great location, clean, and well set up. We wanted for nothing. 27 holes across the street…Outstanding pricing for golf given the owner pass. This is also true about the pool pass. Bikes were great and allowed for easy rides around the community. Everything is clean and safe.

Beautiful condo that has been recently renovated. Waikoloa is a beautiful area! Some food and other goodies were waiting for us at arrival. Made use of the pool pass and nearby hot tub. Loved that each bedroom has its own tv.
