We truly enjoyed the house and property. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook indoors or outdoors on the grill. There are 2 indoor tables that each accommodated our group of 6. There were beach chairs, boogie boards, and umbrellas available to use.
Perfect property for a family gathering. Also, great location to all things in South Kauai.
From the moment we walked in, this home made a lasting impression (it’s even better in person). My husband and I (and our two boys) stayed in the main house while my parents enjoyed the privacy (and close proximity) of the casita. We loved our morning coffee together on the lanai and cocktails every evening floating in the warm pool. The palm trees in the backyard added so much to the island feel. This home is like a resort without the hustle and bustle of a big hotel. The neighborhood is lovely too. We’ve already recommended this home to family and friends. We will be back!
Quiet neighborhood, beautiful home and smart set up with independent guest cottage. Enjoyed the pool, the roosters, quiet street. Everything needed to cook as a family. Space and warm decoration.
This is a great house. For 4 adults it was absolutely perfect. Very clean, super comfortable, amazing beds and very nice amenities over all. The best feature of this house has to be the pool area, it’s even better in person! It’s super serene and we loved that the two main bedroom and kitchen are oriented around this space — so you feel always outside. At night we just sat on the outside chairs and star gazed. Most I recall seeing ever.
We have stayed in this is neighborhood before at a different home—and ant other points around Kauai over a dozen years. A spot in Poipu is ideal if you’re going this first time or with family. Parrish Kauai did a terrific job and was very responsive. Thanks for the excellent vacation.
What a place! The most well-appointed kitchen of all rental homes in my experience. Outdoor grill area by the pool was top notch! Bedrooms were very comfortable, privacy throughout the property despite being located in a neighborhood. This would be the home I'd want to live in if I lived on Kauai. Mahalo!
We loved this house!! Everyone enjoyed the pool and with 3 beds and baths we all had plenty of room. The house is close to a Poipu Beach and many other Kauai sites. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
We enjoyed our 10 day visit very much. The location is a bit out of town, so we drove rather than walked to the beach, dinners out, etc. Being in a quiet area was peaceful in the evenings though and we loved having the heated pool.
The house is very well furnished and equipped with almost everything a guest could want.
We recommend bringing a Bluetooth speaker for music.
I'll start out by saying that we really loved the home itself. It was clean, comfortable, spacious, well equipped. And we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor internal courtyard with pool as it was very private.
The only reason I am giving 4 stars overall and not 5 is that it's not particularly quiet - at least not for the next several months as there is a construction project and noise most of day + you can hear neighbors a lot (music from outdoor stereo next door). Even though we were out most of the day, one reason we chose this house with a pool was so we could come back after beach or hikes and relax by pool. (The pool is awesome.) We feel that the construction issue should have been disclosed; the noise wasn't awful, but it was like a perpetual drone in the background.
Otherwise, the house is great. And having the separate guest suite was great for our son and his girlfriend to have their own little getaway within the "compound."
Parrish was pretty good, but some of the house instructions weren't super clear and they didn't seem to know a lot of specifics about the house. - for example that the house actually did have plenty of beach equipment - chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear (which I had asked about, but they didn't seem to know).
We would highly recommend this house unless you want something really tranquil.
Family of 5 enjoyed this home especially the pool patio and grill. Excellent AC in all rooms. Beach stuff added additional benefits.
