Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was in a great location. It was a little tired and we had a few hiccups but they were quickly addressed by the management company. I do wish we had received at least a linen change during our 10 days stay as we have with other managements. Overall a great spot!

This was our 4th trip to Hawaii (2 Maui, 2 Kauai) in the past 5 years. While we have enjoyed each trip and each location, we all agreed that this was our favorite overall stay. It is on the beach, not super crowded, offers good snorkeling, fun boogie boarding. And, the condo was amazing. It was clean, roomy and well-stocked. The windows and high-beamed ceilings were fantastic. Really a special location. This may be the "one" we actually come back to again in the future.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the house was a nice place to stay. It was very spacious and clean. The keys/lock were however a huge frustration throughout the stay. We would have to get new keys every few days because ours suddenly would not work. What’s more frustrating is we had to wait as we were locked out for some one from across the street at Codwell Banker to bring them over, as the plantation did not have access since it was a privately owned condo. The last few nights the door would also just “open” if the top latch wasn’t being used. So we had to make sure we always used that lock which was frustrating as people came in/out at different times. On the second to the last day the upper balcony got fixed because the corner was loose throughout the week and maintenance noticed it and came up. I emailed Codwell customer service about both the door/lock/keys and balcony on 6/14 and have not yet received a response . I also called and spoke with a gentleman in the Kauai office on 6/14 and he didn’t seem to care much. Basically said “it happens.” I’m not sure I would stay at this particular unit again just because it’s not part of the kiahuna plantation, as it’s managed through a separate party.

We’ve rented in kiahuna plantation several times and this is the best place yet.
