Location of the condo was great! We did have a few people wander into our part of the lanai which was a bit odd in the mornings but not a huge deal. The place is spacious and was wonderful for us and our three kids!
Amazing!!! Our family had such a great stay. Never have to leave the resort, has everything you need right there. Great view, great beach, great snorkeling, great restaurants, great pools easy walk to food trucks and right on the beach. This was my families 2nd time at Honua Kai and it didn't disappoint. Hope to come back.

Everything was great! The location of the condo and the ocean view were perfect. My only critique would be the lighting in the rooms, which were pretty dark. And the kitchen needed a few items like pot holders and a flat cooking sheet. Otherwise our stay was amazing! We’d definitely come back here again.

From check-in to check-out, our stay was perfect and seamless. We were a family of six (4 adults, 2 small children) and found the condo well stocked with necessities and the shared lanai was amazing. We have stayed at Honua Kai several times in the past and found this condo to be exceptional. We shopped at Times grocery store which is within walking distance, dined at Dukes frequently and loved that the beach is so close. The beach chairs in the condo were greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and experienced a memorable and fantastic stay.

Looooved this place! It was very spacious and had everything we needed for a weeks stay with the perfect view! The balcony is technically shared by the others on the floor but nobody ever came into our area so it didn’t bother us. We left our sliding doors open daily! The weather was perfect and the location was perfect! Easy check in and out instructions, quick response from epic to any of our questions. Overall GREAT stay!
The property's location was fantastic; it had easy electronic access, and the property management company was excellent. However, the actual unit showed some wear and the furniture was quite uncomfortable. The master shower was challenging to use because the door opens inward, making it nearly impossible to easily turn on the shower and enter the space. Additionally, the kitchen sink made a gurgling sound, and the second toilet ran periodically on its own.On a positive note, the beds and pillows were outstanding and very comfortable. Another advantage was the beach gear and the starter items provided for the kitchen, laundry, and showers. And electronic beach towel access was great!The lighting throughout the unit was dim, and the television package was heavily focused on sports.We encountered a problem when the refrigerator broke down, which forced us to rely on coolers, ice, and a temporary refrigerator. Unfortunately, we received a new one just the day before our departure. While we appreciated the credit we received, we did not receive compensation for the food that spoiled.After leaving the property, we received an email with checkout information, which left us unsure whether we had completed everything on the list.Overall, this property was very clean, although it did show some signs of wear. Despite the refrigerator issues, which the property management addressed promptly, we had a fantastic time.
We had a wonderful stay at this property. Traveled there with my husband, two young kids, and our au pair. We had everything we needed to cook some meals, the location was great, and the place was clean and easy to access! Will definitely stay here again in the future!
We had a fantastic stay! The condo was exactly as pictured, and the two king beds made it feel like having two master suites—so comfortable and spacious. The location was perfect, with a great restaurant onsite, easy access to pools and the beach, and included parking. We also loved that there was a food truck park and a grocery store within walking distance. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, making the whole experience seamless. Highly recommend!
Just as it was pictured. We could see whales from our Lanai. You wouldn't know that it's a shared lanai! We loved it. Parking was great in covered garage.
We had the most wonderful time. The condo was incredible! Super clean and exactly what we were hoping for. The views from the lanai were spectacular and we spent many mornings enjoying the view as we ate breakfast, and many nights watching the skyline as the sun set. The staff was great! First time to Maui and this property was amazing. We visited with another couple and the condo was perfect for us. Beds are comfortable, as is all the furniture. Nicely decorated and the lanai was perfect. Quick walk to the beach and pools. Duke's has great food and the bar staff was excellent. We had a massage at the spa and again, great staff and services. Super easy check-in and out. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This vacation home was perfect for our family of 4 plus 2 grandparents. It was just a short walk to the pool where we swam most of the day and Duke's where we went for a couple meals during our 5 night stay. After reading reviews we made reservations prior to our stay. The unit itself was clean and we had no issues during out stay. We found that it was cool enough in the evening to turn off the AC. We cooked several meals (mostly breakfast) in our unit (Costco haul) and once at the outdoor grill. It is a short walk to the food truck park and a larger grocery store and if you have children, Slappy Cakes was a huge hit. My husband ran the boardwalk every morning and saw dolphins. We saw several rainbows from our lanai. Just a short walk to the beach. The list goes on! This was our second stay at Hona Kai and I doubt it will be our last.
We absolutely loved our stay. We were nervous about the shared Lanai but it absolutely is not an issue. Just gives you so much extra space. Family of 5 stayed comfortably and are already planning to book again in the future. Dayna at Epic was so helpful extending our stay and bringing us a new cooler when the one in the room was broken. Thank you for a great family vacation!
Great space. We had enough room to lounge both inside and outside on the wrap around balcony. The little extras made the difference, when we went off to explore. Chairs, cooler, umbrella, and a skim board...
This was an incredible condo for two couples or a family. Lovely living area that opened into a very large outdoor patio. Great for outdoor dinners and hanging out. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
We enjoyed bonus maintain and this unit was great. The huge lanai is the best part. Having the longer chairs and high table to watch the sunset was great.
Great property! Even better than expected from the listing! Amazing sunsets and beautiful landscaping. Being able to get drinks and food from Dukes was a big plus. We had an issue with our washing machine and property manager was very attentive and it was fixed promptly. We would absolutely go back!!
We were very happy with the space and amenities offered at this property! We were a bit apprehensive about the "shared lanai," but while it may not offer the privacy other units might have, it worked well for us. If you don't like soft beds, this might not be the place for you. Probably the softest bed I've ever slept on. Loved the folding doors to open up to the lanai! Also, great privacy inside with bedrooms on opposite ends of unit with very few shared walls.

The property and condo were great. Spacious living areas and bedrooms. Stocked with all the essentials for a week at the beach. Pool and amenities were fantastic, particularly for families with you kids. The huge terrace was a fantastic place for morning coffee or dinner. Would definitely recommend.
We absolutely LOVED our stay here! This truly is a hidden gem and my family and I enjoyed every minute of our stay. From the spacious room to the unbelievably gorgeous views. Highly recommend and we definitely plan on booking our next stay here again. The only tiny thing we noticed was the dryer took several cycles to dry clothes completely but far from a deal breaker. Communication was fast when issues arised (minor fixes) & the maintenance team was quick and friendly.
If I had anything bad to say it would be the cost of eating out. Very expensive at the resort, I’d recommend a Costco trip before arrival. We did find some good eateries plus food trucks close by though. I would highly recommend this unit and would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time while staying at the condo. Everyone that works at the resort is so nice and ready to answer any questions you may have. They are always smiling. The one pool that we were at every day has a water slide and everyone loved. We had a few little things wrong with condo but Epic Raelty answered our call and fixed problem within an hour. They were amazing. I would give them 5 stars. I also have to mention the beds were so comfortable. The view amazing every night . The only thing I could find a little bit off would be some of the furniture is a bit worn looking .
