This was one of the few options on the island for a larger group to stay, and it worked great. The kitchen is well stocked, and the closet of beach toys, chairs, and coolers, was very useful. The location is great, and the views are amazing. The additional fees on this stay were higher than I've generally seen, but it worked for our purposes. The negatives were that some of the trimming (curtains, walls, etc) have seen some wear and tear. The other negative was the 2nd main level patio is occupied by pigeons and was not cleaned before our stay. That patio was entirely unusable and covered in bird poo (everywhere). The elevator also had issues twice during our stay, so be prepared to climb stairs occasionally.
Overall the stay was great - a couple things to note - upstairs never cools off fully so its warm up there in July - even with air running 24/7 and all windows closed. The balcony/patios are great but only one is able to be used as one is full of bird poop (has not been cleaned in a long time) and the other is very warm - nothing to sit on. The main one is great for viewing turtles and the sunset. This place has everything you need. Could use regular beach towels and not Turkish ones - we ended up buying ones as the others do not dry you off. More bath towels would have been great also had to wash them several times to have enough for the week. Cannot use the pool ones other guests are using as this condo is privately owned. Owners were great with communication, beds are comfy, enough pots and pans to cook. Overall a great place to stay (except the upstairs as its hard to sleep in the heat).
Lots of room for everyone. Views were good, but no sunrise or sunset view. Only one AC worked, very hot days and uncomfortable nights. The patio was full of birds and poop. The mattresses need to be replaced. Otherwise a good area.
The condo was a great place to stay. The beach was easily accessible, and was never crowded. Water is beautiful with snorkeling right off the beach. Great thing is you can see sea turtles all day from both the beach and the balcony.The condo was great, had some issues with the air conditioning but that was resolved quickly.
Absolutely stunning view of the coast! Perfect condo for three couples to have their own spaces with own private baths. Beach below the unit was full of turtles you could watch from the balcony or snorkel with below. Loved how there were communal barbecues to grill from below the units, a nice pool, and a delicious restaurant. Would definitely recommend! Family room was a little warm when we arrived since the AC wasn’t on and the blinds were open letting the heat of the afternoon in. Some of the patio decks need to be addressed for cleanliness, clogged downspout / staining on deck, & dead plants, and there could be some adjustments and fine tuning of loose faucets and hardware around the home. TV in the downstairs guest bedroom should be replaced due to having static lines across it. Mostly minor things that didn’t impact enjoyment of our stay but could be addressed by the owner to make it perfect! The location and the view was a 10!
We all really loved the views and watching the sunsets. The condo was spacious and all of the provided dishes made cooking a breeze.

Comfortable, clean. Had everything we needed including a closet full of beach gear. Cool rooms, refreshing. Perfect place to stay. Some of us never left the room, it was so comfortable and beautiful.
This please was just perfect for our family. We had three couples and celebrated 3 birthdays. The condo was centrally located from everything we wanted to do. We especially loved whale and turtle watching from the balcony. In fact, we had most of our meals from the table watching either the sunset or the sunrise behind us

Great location. We saw several whales during our stay. We also saw sea turtles. The beach area is nice. There are several gas grills to use. The bedrooms are very large. Beds are comfortable. Bring your own beach towels. They have a cooler for your use.
The place was perfect for our family. Loved the balconies that overlooked the ocean which were perfect for viewing the sunset.The screens on the window do need repaired.
We were happy with the apartment overall, although it was quite pricey for a two night stay, unable to spread out the other fees (cleaning etc) over more nights to average the nightly rate down.
Everything was great - location, cleanliness, amenities and beach equipment, well stocked kitchen utensils. The views and natural light were fantastic. We travelled with a 13 month old, and there was ample space for him to move around. The host mentioned that they didn’t have a crib available, but they do have a pack and play which our son slept in comfortably.
Stayed here for my 30th birthday with my family, and wow!! This was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed, amazing views from every balcony.
Great amenities, and location. 10/10 recommend to anybody. Good for groups.
We had a wonderful time. The condo is very clean and lots of space. Amazing views. Place is very clean. Kitchen is fully equipped. I like to cook so it was heaven for me. So much space for the pantry. The area is a walking distance to restaurants depending on how much you want to walk. We will definitely rent this place again. Thank you Epuc Realty.
Loved the condo! Just like the online pics. My daughter said it’s so cool to be able to snorkel right from our beach. No need to drive somewhere. Would book again!!!
We had a great time and the property was great! The ONLY issue we had is that it got uncomfortable during the day due to heat and humidity. The air flow wasn’t the best. But the property was beautiful and the amenities were exactly as stated. Would definitely recommend!
nice resort and accommodations
Overall the place is very nice, modern and spacious inside. The patios are not well taken care of.
The host was not very helpful. We didn’t receive any emails with instructions for whatever reason and they made no effort to send to another email or to answer simple questions.
The condo had everything we needed beach gear, kitchen items but bring a spatula because they only have one and it comes apart when you use it!
Again overall the place looks great.

Loved the condo, location was great. The beach is beautiful, not crowded at all. Kids enjoyed the pool also. Really neat watching turtles in the ocean, from balcony they were easy to spot! Great place to stay. Condo is well equipped, we needed nothing else.
What a gorgeous condo! It fit our family of 6 perfectly.
All three bedrooms had its own lanai & were well used by us. Seeing turtles swimming just below us & having one sun itself in view, was wonderful. Not to mention the many, many humpback whales were able to see from the lanai with binoculars. Snorkeling at Olowalu was the best! The ATV rides were so much fun, pricey but worth the views & getting muddy!
The condo was well kept, well appointed & so very comfortable. The complex's beach was thick sand so good exercise in walking it. The grills were kept spotless & very convenient. Having a wash/dryer in the unit was a God send! We loved it & hope to stay here again in the future! Loved Maui!
My family and I were family comfortable staying at the Sands of Kahana! The apartment was clean, spacious, and had lots of kitchen amenities and space so we could cook in during our stay! There is a small local beach just steps outside the apartment, and you can easily access some of the more famous beaches on the West Shore. Would love to visit again soon!
The layout of the property is very nice. However, the property is in need of general maintenance and repair. There are 3 separate lanai's are very nice but in need of repair and cleaning. Some of the furniture is worn and some are in need of repair. Some specific items. 1 chair and 2 stools are about to fall apart. 2nd floor bathroom sink facet is loose. Some lights need to are out or are blinking. Shower curtain is moldy and needs to be replaced.
The overall complex needs maintenance and repair.
The Sands of Kahana was a perfect location for our family vacation. The description and reviews provided were a good summary of the facility. Some updating is necessary but overall the facility was perfect. Seeing sea turtles and whales from the balcony was fantastic. Could not find a better location.
We really enjoyed our stay! However didn’t like that they only supplied one roll of paper towel for an entire week stay. They said they only provide a starter amount! 🙄 with the amount of $ ya pay to stay here I would think they would supply the basic house hold items needed. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

Our extended family of 8 throughly enjoyed our time at Sanda of Kahana...the view is absolutely breathtaking...watch multiple types of whales play and swim in the cove between the three islands was unbelievable 8 stories high up...finishing the evening was seeing a beautiful sunset into Lanai was just gorgeous. The accommodations were comfortable, all the amenities were great, and the home had everything to make and prepare a home cooked meal. We would not hesitate to stay again when we return to Maui. Thank you so much for making your home available to us.
Great place for our bigger group! The Penthouse was beautiful!The Beach house Bar and Grill had delicious food and drinks. Loved the Coconut shrimp! Even saw some whales off of the beach. My only complaint was that we had to check out by 10am. It seems a little early for check out.
