AVOID IT if you can. First of all, there is no central AC. All they have is a small space cooler. That cool air by no means reaches the bedroom. So when you’re sleeping at night, the bedroom is HOT. On the second night of our stay, there was an intoxicated person walking around behind the property screaming profanity. Apparently that is public property and anybody can walk around at any point in time. We definitely did not feel safe.While trying to get back inside in a hurry, the sliding door stuck. Our messages to the property manager. (Vacasa) were of no use. They just gave us useless and unhelpful answers. Finally, we had to struggle to get the door shut.On the fourth day, our front door lock would not open. I called and complained, they said somebody will come to check it out. After coming back from a day trip, we spent nearly 15 minutes, trying to get the door open. Vacasa had promised us somebody would check into this rectify it before we got back.The location itself is nice and close to restaurants. The “new” superintendent was a nice guy and offered to help.
This is not for publication but for the owner. Needs a serious deep clean. Fan in bath is disgusting, grout around shower needs to be cleaned. Screen should be fixed to go up and down, need it or have to keep drapes closed in afternoon. Time to replace rugs. Had everything needed in kitchen. Outdoor furniture pads need to be replaced. Guessing the owners haven’t been here for awhile.

Great views of the beach and sunset! The waters by the condo aren’t the best for swimming or snorkeling but it’s a decent beach. Very nice view of the sunsets. Very convenient access to pool. Only a few steps to the beach!
Only complaints are it needed deep cleaned and the bedroom was way too hot to sleep. We ended up sleeping on the pull out couch (which was pretty comfy) every night to be closer to the air.
We chose this place for our honeymoon and we’re really excited. Upon arrival we noticed the shady neighborhood, that had seen better days. When we got into the apartment there was a homeless man sleeping just outside the terrace while others congregated in the parking lot. We spoke to other guests and neighbors who confirmed this was the new normal there now. There is a church that provides food for the people in need each day, so that attracts homeless people to stay around. The housing crisis on Maui is apparent everywhere and very unfortunate. However, we did not feel safe with the easy-to-break-in lock of the terrace. Who can enjoy ocean views if people in despair are sleeping 10ft from you?
We left the day of check in and had to find a different place. Vacasa has not treated our concerns appropriately and I do not feel valued or appreciated by their customer service. Response was slow and without care.

Had a great time, with a great view. Upon arrival there was a cute welcome gift with some snacks. They even allowed early check in. The bathroom could use a little updating but overall location is perfect with plenty to do! Mahalo!
Stayed one year ago, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Booked again this year, and it did not disappoint! Will be booking the same suite again. So convenient to all the stores, which are in walking distance. Excellent access to the beach. Ground’s kept in amazing condition. Can’t wait until next time.
Beautiful oceanfront Condo, close to restaurants & shops in Kihei. We enjoyed our stay & would love to return in a couple years!
P.S. Slider needs to be fixed so that both sides open, for twice the air flow & an unobstructed view!

I've stayed at quite a few rentals on Maui and the views and convenience of this location has been my favorite so far. This 1st floor unit is within steps from the beach, which is located on the other side of the lawn and is the perfect spot to watch the amazing sunsets and humpback whales playing in the distance. The Times grocery store and the popluar Nalu's Grill are only a couple walkable blocks away, along with numerous businesses close by. We also fished off the jetty at the end of the beach and caught a couple of jack crevalles that we grilled up on the grill next to the unit. The property is clean and well maintained, and the building maintenance crew were friendly and helpful.
The only big issue we had was that the bed was really uncomfortable, pillows were super flat and bedding was hard/scratchy. We didn't sleep well at all during our stay. Besides a few other little suggested upgrades, we really did enjoy the unit and it's location, and would definitely consider coming back to stay here again.
The location is great. The condo is great. Only thing is we lost power at 5 pm. I tried to contact anyone but no one ever could resolve the power issue. It happened right in the middle of cooking dinner so we had to throw away the un cooked meat we were cooking and go eat dinner out which cost us just under $100. We came back to condo and the power was out only in our condo. It was a long miserable night without the air conditioning. The power was finally restored to the unit at almost noon the next day. I feel that we are owed a refund for the hours without power. The uncooked meal we had to throw away and the meal we had to go out and eat for both dinner and breakfast. That would be the right thing to do since it was not our fault the power shut off just at this condo only. Other than that it’s a great location.
