The several large buildings and parking area where this unit is located are on the opposite side of the busy road where the main Kona Bali Kai buildings, office, pool, hot tub, ocean front lounging / walking areas and beach are located. I arrived an hour early, the office was already closed and my Vacasa check-in instructions gave no indication where this studio was located. It took a long time to find the unit among the multiple 3-4-story buildings on both sides of the busy road. After waiting patiently for my 4 pm check-in time, I was forced to wait an add'l 2.5 hrs. due to Vacasa property management mistakes with the key-coded lock. Without my follow up calls, my check-in with them would have been delayed even longer! This unit had no house manual or any printed instructions for where to find / how to operate things such as snorkel equipment, A/C unit, TV, access to pool, amenities. I never did figure out how to get into the pool area (which was uninviting, being completely shaded by the tall buildings closely built around it. The studio unit itself was clean and well stocked. The sliding doors open out to a very small lanai (only enough room for 2 chairs) directly above the busy Ali'i Dr. Construction and road noise were a major issue. The unit's view looks directly at the 4-story high Kona Bali Kai buildings across the street. The listing's "ocean view" feature pertains to a "sneak peak" of ocean visible only from the far end of the facing tall buildings.
We loved that this condo was in a quieter, less busy area. It was convenient we could hop on a bus to the shopping village (the bus seemed to arrive at 40 after the hour and ran every hour - we had a hard time figuring out the times it arrived at the stops). The home had everything needed for cooking. It was clean and fit our needs perfectly. It's not exactly beach-front, but there is two small sandy areas where one could put their feet in the water, relax, and/or watch the sunset. The beach view was a plus! Absolutely beautiful!
Everything was as expected and clean.
Just a quick drive to town, and the beach area across the road is nice for exploring and viewing sea turtles (no swimming though).
Nice place , no washer, dryer or dishwasher in the unit and one window was not covered with blinds , so the cable guy watched me in my undies

This studio was perfect for just the two of us.
This condo is just the ticket for us. Balcony shaded until noon, view of the rolling waves, very clean, nicely appointed, breezy, a few minutes to town, a few minutes to snorkeling, a few minutes to shopping, corner grocery a stone's throw, beach across the street with lounge chairs, surfers to watch. sunsets out the window. We have plumeria trees off our balcony, perfuming the air. The grounds are very prettily landscaped so coming and going to the car right outside our door is also a treat. Management has been very approachable and helpful. I enjoyed walking to Magic Sands in the mornings with a nicely shaded roadside path. We look forward to our return visit.
