Pros: House size, location, property, beautiful views, beautiful yard, outdoor shower, owner accepted early check in without a fee Cons: Air conditioning not sufficient, Property Manager/Owner, Home Decor Would I stay again? No, price not worth the experience. Other houses in the same area were a better experience. Review: We booked this house along with 2 other houses in Ainamalu for a leadership retreat experience. Its unfortunate for this owner but our experience compared to the experience at the other two houses. The biggest reason I will not stay here again is the property manager/owner of the property. We experienced issues with Air Conditioning the day we arrived and reached out via VRBO. If this is your first time visiting Waikoloa, you must know that Waikoloa is like a desert on a hot day, it gets extremely hot. The Temp gauge read 82 and moved to 79 when we had the A/C running for 4 hours. The manager/owner replied quickly and advised to close and lock all the doors so we did but the house didnʻt seem to cool off. I contacted via VRBO on the 2nd day and received the same response. After 72 hours of this issue, I was given the A/C contractor information by the property manager and was advised to contact them for help. I donʻt agree with this, why is the property manager/owner passing this responsibility on to me? I wanted this fixed so I contacted them. I could not schedule an appointment nor would they help me because I was not the owner of the property (which totally makes sense). The A/C contractor contacted me with an appointment and advised that I needed to be available at the house because the property manager is not on island. Upon arrival, the contractor and I spoke about our concerns. He immediately knew what we were experiencing because they informed the owner the 1 unit they have at the property is not sufficient to cool off the entire property. The other houses in the same area have 2 units, whereas this house has only one unit. Finally the problem is understood and the contract has informed the owner of the property this in the past (which means other users have experienced this). The contractor informed us the only way to experience the a/c is the close all the doors and go into the rooms, the living room will always be warmer than the rooms because the A/C unit cannot cool of the entire property. The experience with the property manager is the main reason I will never stay at this property again. Choose another house.
