The condo was well equipped. Great location and access to a lot of businesses
Great location! Easy parking and we really enjoyed the ground floor spot with beautiful, well-kept grounds. A few amenities could use some updates and a deeper clean, we appreciated the beach gear provided. Overall, we'd happily stay here again!
Property is dated. It could use upgrading. Needs more kitchen dishes. Location very good.
Overall it was ok. It was not very clean when we arrived and there was no way to try to tidy up, vacuum spit out sand and no dustpan to sweep. Air conditioning in primary bedroom did not work well and ceiling fan made a ticking noise and did not work as well, had to buy a box fan which we left and helped a lot. Some items stalked but not organized and randomly thrown in cabinets . Thankful for the 3 chairs. Location next to pool was nice. It is not very comfortable to be inside there so if you plan on being outside all day it works!
Nothing fancy, but perfect location (both the condo and the unit). Solid.
Several pros and cons to the property.
Pros - great proximity to the pool, shuffle boards, tennis courts, community grills and of course the ocean. Parking was easy, the grounds were very well maintained and it was awesome to be in the ground level. The AC units worked well. It was also nice to have a boogie board, some snorkel gear, volleyball, beach chairs, etc.
Cons - the #1 complaint is the sofa - or lack there of. Sounds silly but there was no where of us to relax as a family. The sofa was dirty and like outdoor wicker furniture. The dryer does not work - figured that out the hard way after doing a load of laundry. Overall the condo was not very clean - bathrooms have stains, kitchen needed a thorough wipe down and the floors needed a good sweeping. The beds were ok, but not ideal.
Overall I would recommend the condo - and with a little effort in updates it could be great.

The condo is a decent condo, the best aspect is the location. Ground floor at Maui Sunset was amazing for our family with the expansive grass and the close pool and beach. We had a few complaints on the condo. The couch and beds are not very comfortable. The beach towels that they tell you are $20 each if you lose are cheap old and falling apart-barely able to be used as a towel. When we arrived the kitchen utensils, cups and plates were dirty, so had to wash everything in the dishwasher. The A/C in the queen room was very loud, the a/c in the twins room smelled like it was burning or something, but both worked fine. We had asked the property manager if there were beach chairs, umbrellas, etc as every other condo we have stayed in Maui had them. We were told it did not have anything, so we paid to rent them. When we arrived we found there were in fact a bunch of chairs, umbrellas, other beach and pool stuff. The beach nearby is nice and empty but lots of rocks/coral in the sand, even way out. It’s still a nice beach, just bring water shoes if you want to go out in the water. All in all, it’s a decent condo.
Nice two bedroom in a great location
Loved the location, the grounds of the condo complex, walk to the beach to watch sunset. Enough amenities for a family. Beach chairs, pools noodles etc are a plus 😊
Overall the property as a whole was nice and as expected. I get it, emergencies happen, couldn’t check in until 6:30pm though. Also wasn’t provided any entry instructions to the unit so we were fortunate that the cleaners were still there to get one for us. Towels were dirty and couch smelled funny… found all kinds of crumbs and food pieces under the cushions. Also took a good couple of hours to air the house out since it wreaked of bleach. Wasn’t a terrible place to stay but will try somewhere else next time since the cleaning fee and other unnecessary fees totaled about the same amount as the 2 night stay total.
