Very good location for Waikīkī
Property was clean and location is very convenient to delicious restaurants / food trucks and shops. Apartment was a little small for 2 adults and 2 teenagers but served its purpose as our base to explore Oahu.
Our family recently rented this property, It was lovely, close to so many convenient things, our family had a great time. The owner was so kind and helpful and communicated about our questions promptly.
Some people complained about the setup, but I think it's great. Two completely separate rooms with individual bathrooms. Great setup for parents and adult or teen kids. Privacy for everyone.View is amazing, elevators fast, and it's lovely to sit on the pool deck in the mornings with pastries and coffees from Maleko (which is on property).
The view is the best part of this vacation home. Our kids enjoyed having a "separate" room from the adults. This listing is 2 studio apartments with 2 separate doors. My husband who is 6'5" struggled with the low ceiling in the shower. This is not a place to hang out in but worked great for sleeping.
We were only in Honolulu for 3 nights so this location was perfect for what we needed, a place to sleep and shower. Having parking onsite was a huge bonus. Some of the furniture could use an upgrade but again, we were not spending much time in the room, we were out exploring.
Fantastic views from the apartment which is excellently located for Waikīkī. The cooking utensils are a bit lacking but we made do. For parking I’d recommend Kalia road parking garages as their monthly rate was much cheaper that than onsite parking even for only a weeks stay! It’s is only a short walk across the park opposite the building.
Safe, clean and good location. Nice ocean and city views.
Lamp did not work. Liked the bbq area.
The property location was spot on for being in the most central location on Waikiki. Everything you need is within walking distance. Check in was easy and the owner was very helpful and responded quickly to all questions. Could use some updates but very good especially for the price. Thank you. Can use some updates but
Great view ...every day is sunshine while the valley is cloudy ...lots to see and do in Waikiki ...
We had an absolutely great time during our one-week stay. This is a fantastic property and was perfect for our needs Having the flexibility of making small meals was both a time and money saver. We did not experience any issues with the elevators. On-site parking was easy and available every day. The cost seemed average for the area.
This unit was advertised as a two bed, two bath unit. Well, yes, but...
The only 'common area' in the entire unit was the entry way (either key would open a main door that led to two separately keyed bedroom doors, only accessible by individual keys. Each bedroom was really a micro-unit, with a kitchenette and bath.
Our room had a queen bed that was too big for the limited space -- there was no place to put suitcases and still walk around the bed -- that caused a lot of headaches. The kitchenette consisted of a two-burner cooktop, a very small sink, and a refrigerator, and it took up a huge amount of space. The other room (my cousin and her husband) was a touch larger with two single beds, but even that room didn't have enough room for the four of us to sit and chat unless at least one person sat on a bed.
Overall, it was fairly obvious to me that this unit had been set up for the potential of two rentals at the same time -- definitely NOT what we understood from the online listing. Definitely this was a letdown for our final rental during our island-hopping trip. 3-star is the best I can go. I wouldn't rent this unit again.
First off, the views are amazing, you will not be disappointed in enjoying the ability to relax and look out at the city and ocean. Although we enjoyed our stay overall it is good to realize that the apartments are dated. That was fine, but where improvement needs to be made is in the small appliances. Between the two rooms we were able to get one coffee pot and one toaster working. Only one room had an iron. All small appliances are extremely dated and need to be replaced. This would be such a small cost but would go a long way in improving the overall experience.
We had a wonderful stay. The two bedrooms were spacious and well laid out.
Great location for many highlights. If only looking for a place to sleep perfect, no accommodations for relaxing in the room other than laying down in bed. No issues with elevators
Alex is a great host. He provides you with all the information you need in the new town. Always available when you need him. The view from his condo is phenomenal. Like the title state amazing ocean/skyline and land view. My family and I will book again at his location if we plan to come again.
The owner really need to make sure that the condo has the basics. My parents said the light in the dining area didn’t work so they had to use an iPhone flashlight. The bathroom lightbulb didn’t work so my dad went to the front desk to ask for one and they said they could not assist that’s the owner’s responsibility. The sink drank has no disposal and was already clogged which gave out a bad smell. The only positive was the nice view. Had I known I would not have booked this place for them.
