Such a convenient place to stay, we love Kihei Kai Nani! Unit was clean and very well equipped. Lots of towels and bedding and everything we needed. Appreciated all the beach stuff as well. We would definitely stay here again!
Pros: plenty of hot water, central location steps away from the beach, nice quiet patio to enjoy coffee and breakfast in the morning. Owners are quick to respond and helpful. Check-in was very easy.
Cons: the maintenance of this space was clearly bare minimum. We felt a little fooled by the listing. We specifically booked this space because of the abundance of beach equipment pictured, however, once we arrived most of the equipment was broken, and some equipment listed were not available in the unit. The unit itself was quite dirty; and I want to emphasize that it is NOT because of the cleaning staff, but rather because detailed care of this space has not been maintained. It is clear that there are back to back bookings with minimal maintenance, and owners live out of state. Next time I stay in Maui, I will book at a hotel, at least there would be a front desk to complain to, rather than the complaints being put on the cleaning staff (it's not their fault). The bed needs updating, it is clearly well used, and the frame is not sturdy. Overall, I'd give the space a 2.5 out of 5 stars. There is also no blinds in the front space, so whoever sleeps on the sofa beds have no privacy. It was just myself and my husband so we did not have this issue. Overall, it did not negatively impact our time in Maui, but we were disappointed in the space and felt fooled by the listing.
Very short walk to Kam II beach as well as restaurants, bars, and shopping. It’s also very close to the pool.
Our family of 6 (myself, spouse, our two young adult kids, and our two teenagers) had a wonderful time in this rental! Yes, it was tight, but we've been in smaller hotel rooms...it's all perspective and the location cannot be beat! Opening up all of the windows created an amazing breeze and using the patio as an extension of the place gave it a fun vibe. We really appreciated the washer/dryer in the unit and the availability of beach umbrella, chairs, and wagon. The beach really is right across the street (as well as shopping and eateries) and not having to find a parking spot daily to enjoy the beach makes this property worth every penny. We would absolutely stay here again!
Had a wonderful stay, this condo had everything you would need to have a great visit to Maui. To me the highlight is the location, great walking access to restaurants and a lovely grocery store and beaches. Would highly recommend for 2 people, I think potentially could be a bit snug for more than that but you could make it work! Great host, lovely place
For any vacation - staying in the right location makes a lot of difference. This place was just that. Right in front of KAM 2 beach and easily accessible to all the food options. Bonnie was very communicative and the apartment had everything we needed including beach toys and a wagon to lug our stuff to the beach. We will be staying again on our next visit to Maui.
This condo is perfectly located across from a family friendly beach. You can rent paddle boards and beach gear right out front too. Restaurants are very close. As a solo parent, this made the trip so much easier. Also, the condo had lots of beach gear!
This is a well stocked, roomy unit in a quiet condo complex leas than a minute's walk from a fabulous beach and great food and shopping options. The owner is very responsive and eager to assist! Highly recommended!

This condo is in a fantastic location, so close to the beach and the complexes pool.
Beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything you need. We were very impressed with everything!
The back deck is very private, and quiet.
We would definitely stay here again!
Exactly what we expected…
Our original stay in Maui got canceled last minute unexpectedly. We were able to reserve this place on very short notice. The condo is clean and well appointed. We traveled with 2 of our grandsons, 9 and 11. They had a blast. We did too. Kam Beach 2 is really nice and a very short walk away.
I have nothing but great things to say about Bonnie. She answered immediately any questions we had prior to our trip, and also during our stay. The unit was very well appointed and we lacked nothing for our family of five. Tommy Bahama beach chairs, beach wagon, and umbrella was used a lot, although we did not use the surf boards supplied. The AC in the living room and the fan in the bedroom was more than enough to maintain a cool environment. Our family with 3 teens fit comfortably, although not a lot of room to move when the Murphy bed and sofa bed were down (which were Uber comfortable!) it was only for a short period of time sleeping. With TVs in the bedroom and living room, the teens were very happy with their gaming. We were very happy with the large deep pool, the beach across the road, as well as the nearby restaurants and shopping strip outside our gates. We would have no problem staying here again next time we are in Maui.

When we walked in there was a dead bug on the ground. Other than that, the condo was pretty clean and tidy. We were running the ac and the dryer at the same time and the power went out.
Host was quick in getting that fixed.
