The location was good for 4 days on the North Shore. The beach was farther away than the listing suggests which meant driving. Great food trucks nearby but grocery store is a bit farther so stock up before you arrive.
We loved the location close to the Ritz Carlton Turtle Bay, golf, horseback riding, and the beach. It was nice to not have to drive too far. Easy drive to the grocery store and we even went to a movie while we were here.

There is no reason not to post this:After staying at three different locations on the islands, we found this condo to be run of the mill at best. The fact that there was not an extra roll of paper towels, no coffee, sugar, creamer, laundry, pods, all of which were available at our other locations through VRBO . It seems the condo association manages this as a bare bones minimum. our Christmas Eve meal at the resort was overly expensive 700 for three people and was not nearly as good as other restaurants that were half the price at other restaurants throughout the islands.
Great trip. Booking was exactly as advertised. The space was comfortable, clean, and had plenty of room for the two of us. Thanks for a great trip!
Would stay here again for sure. Clean and great for my wife and I. We had a rental car while kn the north shore and this was a quick drive to great places. A quick walk to the resort area too for sunsets! Great place.

Location within a short walk of the TB resort and beach, and midway between La’ie and Haleiwa, is the strongest reason to stay here. Interesting walking trails ring the resort property. This unit #125 is bright, updated (loved the shower stall) and clean. For 2 people the layout is functional but unsure how it accommodates 4. Using the bedroom AC and fans kept the interior mostly comfortable until the afternoon sun flooded the living room. After reading reviews and receiving the contract from the management company, I had concerns about the stinginess of the amenities. For context, we’ve stayed in higher-end condos in Kauai, Maui (Ka’anapali), and the Big Island (Waikoloa). Welcome baskets are pretty standard, no? I never thought to pack shampoo and soap! Good news is it seems that there is more provided now than in the past. Dishwasher and laundry pods were provided (2-3 of each for a week stay). Coffee filters (no coffee or tea). One(!) roll of paper towels. Enough bath and beach towels. Nonstick cookware in newer condition. Two beach/lawn chairs. Safe required securing key from elsewhere so we did without. Our rental car suffered greatly from the birds in the tree over the assigned parking space. Pest control came in our last full day to spray. In sum, this stay exceeded my (admittedly low) expectations but fell short of our other (admittedly exceptional) island visits.
We stayed here for a girls weekend trip and had a blast! Property was excellent and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at Turtle Bay condos at Kuilima. The only problem we had, having stayed at other resort condos, was the surprise that while there is a coffee maker no coffee, sugar, shampoo or conditioner is provided. Guests should be told to bring these types of items before arrival. It felt spartan for a visit that totaled (for two nights with all the VRBO fees) $500 a night. For other properties that totaled this much, one would expect basic amenities.
Overall, it was a good stay but would have like to know the following in the listing:
1. It is a 10-minute walk to the beach not a 1-minute walk.
2. It is low on amenities. It had 3 small towels for the beach and 2 dated, folding lawn chairs, not beach chairs.
3. Bring your own soap as the tiny bars provided last only a day.
4. A window mounted A/C unit in the bedroom only. The remainder of the unit has no A/C.
5. The dishwasher did not work.
6. The queen bed mattress is very dated and needs replacing.
I guess I would suggest a few updates on the unit. One of the selling points from the listing was that it stated it was a 1-minute walk to the beach. We were a little disappointed it wasn't so.
We had a great stay. The apartment is clean, nicely furnished. The area is nicely landscaped. The nature around the area is beautiful. There are nice hiking trails, beautiful beaches… Turtle bay resort is also walking distance, guests can shop at the hotel cafes/restaurants etc.

Unit was nice but the location was perfect for relaxing, enjoying the pool and walking/ jogging on the numerous beach paths.
I had so much fun staying in the Kuilima Estates. The property was nice and our room had a pretty view of the golf course. Communication with the property manager was inconsistent, as I had to sign a document with the information of the people staying here and did not hear back but overall I had a great time. Would stay here again.
The Turtle Bay condo is a terrific property and its location is ideal. Close to just about any North Shore beach, including idyllic spots right in Turtle Bay. The condo is well kept, a great size, and has everything you need for a great getaway! We would definitely stay there again!!!
Nice and clean. Nice view of the golf course. 7-8 walk to Turtle Bay resort. Kitchen poorly equipped for cooking if that's your plan. Beach chairs, Towels, and umbrellas severally lacking. For a beach condo, that needs immediate improvement. Would also be nice if rental company provided small shampoos like most do these days.

This is the second time I stayed at this condo and it’s my favorite from the 5 others I stayed. It’s renovated and clean. I would add better beach chairs and umbrella, but everything else is perfect. I will be back next year and I do recommend to everyone. It feels like home!

The living room was so hot, they ceiling fan was outdated and they should have provided multiple fans as well. The couch material was not helping either, uncomfortable and scratchy while you’re sitting in a hot living room. Insects, a wasp entered through the bedroom somehow with all windows closed. Roaches were dead and alive because they decided to spray our condo during our stay, which we didn’t ask for. They could have chosen a time when no one was there. The supplies, they only had 2 trash bags total for our 9 day stay. Overall, would not recommend this specific condo.

We had a few disappoints during our recent stay.We were at a loss to get the TV service going.I would suggest a simple step by step print to help out of region guests figure out how to use the local provider.We would have liked some down time to kick back and watch TV but it was only a frustration.Both my husband came away with bites after sleeping in the bed.Our bites were on our backsides...small, red and VERY itchy!Something seems to have come from our sleeping time in the bed becauseour skin was not exposed otherwise.A light bulb was burned our in the master bathroom.There was mold in three kitchen drawers but housekeeping cleaned that.We liked the place, location and the locks and codes worked perfectly.

We stay at Turtle Bay at least once a year. We love the North Shore and Turtle Bay is a great complex. This is the first time we stayed in this unit. It was clean and comfortable. It did lack some of the extras we are use to having in condos like boogie boards and beach towels (there were only 2). Kitchen had most everything though and extra bedding was provided. Overall, this is a great unit for the price.

We've been using Estates at Turtle Bay for the past 15 years. They are professional and trustworthy we will continue to use them for years to come. As for this condo, it has an updated kitchen with nice appliances. It is running low on flatware but has everything else to prepare any meals you may want. The furniture in the living room is in good shape with a sleeper sofa. Our kids slept on it and is what it is, not very comfortable. There is no dinning room table which we missed a little but they had a table for 2 outside. It would've been better if it was big enough for 4. The WiFi was decent. The overall appearance of condo was nice but we wouldn't recommend it due to the bed in the master. Like us, when people go on a trip, sleep is an essential part of your stay. The North Shore is our happy place and typically come home rested and rejuvenated. Sadly this bed was AWFUL!! On the right side, I always felt like I was going to roll off. The mattress has a slight slope in that direction. The bed lacked any true support to it, my wife and I struggled to find a comfortable position on it. This mattress felt like it was an old baby's crib. Every time you moved, it made a rustling plastic sound. I believe if you are spending this much money to rent this condo, the bed should be comfortable. This is a deal breaker for us, we would not rent this condo again unless we were assured the mattress was replaced. As for other cons, the fan and the A/C need to be either replaced or repaired. The A/C seems to be having some issues. I'm no expert, but it's making this bad rattling sound like rocks are in it. It turns on for 10 seconds then turns off again then right back on for maybe 5 mins. It repeats this throughout the day/night. The ceiling fan makes a loud rubbing noise, like metal on metal when turn up past low. We were so disappointed with this condo and wished we knew what kind of shape this bed was in. View out back would be better if it was trimmed.
