NO EXTRA COSTS for early check-in and late check-out in the TRUE SPIRIT OF ALOHA. If it is possible with the property caretaker/housekeeper, and it is 90% of the time, yes and earlier check-in and/or a later check-out is possible. Late check-outs are great with a later flight...and works out when there is NOT a check-in by another guest later that same day of check-out. Privately owned and maintained, 2nd Floor, 3 bedroom /3 bath condo features an airy, open floor plan and stunning views of Hanalei Bay and the surrounding mountains. The captivating views, visible from the moment you enter the front door, dominate every room and are expanded from the private lanai. Classic Hawaiian Decor. Two of the master bedrooms have King size beds and private en-suite baths. A third bedroom has 2 double beds plus bath. The kitchen is fully equipped, including microwave and washer and dryer.

We have stayed on the property before in a different unit so our expectations were pretty high for our stay. The unit itself has a lovely view and was in a quiet location. The kitchen had all we needed. Beds were comfortable and the layout good for our group of 6. The entire unit could use some updating and a deep clean. The carpets, furniture bedding etc are pretty worn. There were dead bugs in the ceiling fan lights, air conditioner unit vents were covered in dirt, baseboards and bathroom lights dirty with small spider webs. The beach equipment on the patio was old, covered in sand and the folding chairs (not enough for the 6 of us) rusty. We ended up not using any of it. The wi-fi for the resort was out during our stay which did cause some issues for some of our guests related to work. We were going to start washing the towels before our departure but no detergent was supplied. We had a good time in all. I think our expectations were a bit higher from the unit we had previously.

Condo was clean and comfy with everything we needed for our stay. It was an easy walk to the beach. Convenient having the happy talk lounge on site and access to the bars/restaurants at 1 Hanalei within walking distance. The pool on site isn’t heated (the ocean is warmer) but that was fine for us.

We arrived after dark, and were greeted warmly by the front desk staff. Shuttled to our condo which was nice because we had a lot of luggage. We slept well in the comfy beds, and woke up in the morning to see the most beautiful view of Hanalei Bay. I never wanted to leave our balcony! The property is fabulous. One drawback is they were doing maintenance on the grounds every day of our stay. All day long, it was noisy. We will definitely go back, but maybe at a time when there is not so much maintenance going on.

Hanalei Bay Resort is the place to stay on the North Shore! We will stay here every time we come to Kauai. The condo was bigger than I imagined but pretty outdated. Bathrooms and kitchen were not as clean as I had expected with the price we paid for the condo. Views were PHENOMENAL!!! Highly recommend this condo but would appreciate a good bathroom and kitchen scrub!

Hanalei Bay Resort is the place to stay on the North Shore! We will stay here every time we come to Kauai. The condo was bigger than I imagined but pretty outdated. Bathrooms and kitchen were not as clean as I had expected with the price we paid for the condo. Views were PHENOMENAL!!! Highly recommend this condo but would appreciate a good bathroom and kitchen scrub!
