Maalaea Kai Resort sits in the quaint, quiet town of Maalaea. Two-acres of tropical landscaping include an ocean front pool,BBQ and picnic/play areas and plenty of lawn chairs—there's relaxing to be done and much to see in the bay! The beach in front of Maalaea Kai is home to its flotilla of honu (green sea turtles) basking on the beach or bobbing in the surf. Humpback Whales return each winter to birth their calves—their activity is visible off and on, all day long. The condo fulfilled everything my family and I were looking for. We were able to enjoy the great view each morning/night, and spend the day traveling around Maui with plenty of activities within 30 minutes of the condo.

Overall the unit was chosen based on location. Property team was very responsive. Small kitchen but functionally it works. It needs a good deep clean.

Loved the amazing view of this condo. Had a few hiccups with shower door and stains on pillows but the management handled it quickly and efficiently. We weren’t prepared for the condo to have no AC but with the windows open, the breeze was nice and cooling in October. The view literally made the stay!!

Being in Maui for only 3 full days this unit definitely was beautiful to stay in. Did not mind hang out here with some friends, for 5 adults this place was very comfy. Got to see honu in the back too! Place is pretty much in the middle so it was a good way to start of the day.

good front view. clean and tidy. close to the aquarium. communication with property manager was prompt and efficient. not the most luxurious place but decent accomodation and central location.
