We enjoyed the property. The rental unit was exactly as described. Claire and John were excellent VRBO hosts. The location is perfect to see the island, close to the airport, close to a grocery store. Everything was as expected and then some!! we can’t wait to come back and stay again.
Great place to stay. Close to the beach and lots of pubs, restaurants, food trucks and even a grocery store within walking distance.
This location was amazing for all of the activities we enjoyed (tubing, luau, river kayaking, beaches and hikes). The place had more amenities than we even realized, including ample supplies of shampoo, conditioner and body wash - no need to bring any along. Convenient to so much you’ll need,and a beautiful setting along the beach and bike path. Mahalo and aloha!
Waipouli Beach resort is a beautiful resort just north of Wailua and south of town of Kapaa. The condo was perfect for our family of 5 and had everything you would need for a vacation. We were pleasantly surprised with some macadamia nut chocolates and Kaua’i cookies when we arrived. The beach chairs, and mats were perfect and the pool area and beach just steps away was so convenient. The beach isn’t a great swimming beach as there is a reef just a few feet into the water but it was a beatiful quiet beach and great for laying out. Each morning, my wife and I enjoyed a nice walk up the beach which is just north of the resort once you make your way onto the main road and through a little neighborhood. You can walk a good couple of miles up the sidewalk along the beach. We have never stayed in Kapaa before as we normally stay in Poipu but we wanted to try something different and I’m really glad we did. I would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful well-appointed condo nestled in a peaceful resort in Kapaa. Within walking distance to the beach and conveniently close to airport. Just an hour’s drive to hiking trails and gorgeous sunrises in the mornings.
We loved everything about the room and property. It was nicer than the pictures in our opinion. Private beach and great pool. We have no complaints.
The condo was great. We’ve always stayed at resorts, and this was our first attempt at a condo, I think we liked it even more than resort vacationing. Pictures are exactly as shown in the ad, great pool, great beach, lots of parking, great experience. The host had great communication and provided all the instructions needed to access the property.
Thank you for a great stay! We only stayed one night, but thoroughly enjoyed the pool and condo. The condo was comfortable and spacious for our family of 5. The kitchen was great for preparing dinner and there is a Safeway right across the street from the property (walking distance) which was very convenient. Hosts were very responsive to questions. Thank you!
Unit is thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities guests might need. Very clean throughout. Comfortable beds, high-end appliances, in-unit washer-dryer, and charging stations for electronic devices made us feel right at home. A welcome gift basket was a very nice touch too! I only wish we could have stayed longer!
