This house is so perfect for staying with friends and family. The location is walkable to great food, and the beach is 1/2 a block away! Everything about it is irreproachable.
This was one of the best houses we have ever stayed at. The home was exceptional, and we had toys for the beach, a lanai out of every bedroom, and a wonderful kitchen for cooking in. There was even a ping-pong table for us to set up outside. The beach was less than a block away. We would rent this house again if the opportunity ever came up.
We came to Celebrate our 50th wedding Anniversary with children and grandchildren and everyone loved the Hoku Lani Beach House. Tammy was always courteous and responsive and a pleasure to work with and everything at the house was fantastic. Very neat, clean, well stocked and so close to everywhere we went and did. We definitely recommend the Beach House for a relaxing, quiet, and fun experience and we are looking forward to coming back soon to stay at the Beach house again.

This house is so close to the best beach and includes all the beach amenities. The house is also close to so many restaurants and food trucks. It is harder to find a house in Maui that fits eight people. The house was very spacious for the large group. We especially enjoyed the large yard for activities. I highly recommend the house. We didn’t have any issues with the house.
We could not be more happy with our stay. We took our parents for their 40th anniversary and this was our first stop on the journey. Everyone wished we would have stayed longer on Maui and in particular, at this home. Everything was as described and more. Our favorite was using the surfboards to surf just about 200 yards down the street at the cove in the morning. We also loved the fresh fish for lunch and dinner at Paia Fish Market Restaurant which is only about a 1/2 mile walk. Thank you for opening your home for our family. We will definitely be back!!!
Perfect beach house for a family!
Great place to stay in Kihei near the beach. Central to many walkable locations. Beach across the street with turtles sleeping at night. We had fresh mango salsa from the backyard tree everyday. And key lime pie from the lime tree in the front yard. We had 7 adults and a kid. Plenty of space for 6 and 2 in the alcove bed upstairs.
Close to beaches and has great amenities such as surfboards, bikes, etc.
The Hoku Lani Beach House was perfect for our stay with extended family in Kihei. The house was close to the beach and had all of the items we needed for fun beach days. It was well equipped for grilling and cooking at home meals. The owners were responsive and helpful when needed. Would definitely recommend!
Stayed here before and will continue coming back. Every amenity you could need and easy walk to groceries and restaurants. Easiest house to love on Charley Young.
Great home conveniently located steps away from two beautiful beaches, restaurants and shops. The photos really don’t do this house justice. It was larger than anticipated and very comfortable for a family of 7 including a 10 year old. The yard is massive and the host provided everything needed for visiting the beach including a 4x4 wagon for towing beach chairs and boogie boards. The house is fully stocked with essentials. The upstairs bedroom did get a little warm and stuffy even with the AC on but still comfy. Not a big deal for us but note the downstairs bedroom and bathroom doors do not have solid wood panes and the transoms are open so noise easily transfers between rooms. Overall our stay was one of the best.
We loved the location, the home and property. Our family enjoyed staying there immensely and appreciated the convenient access to the beach and stores/restaurants.We wanted to have recycling and composting available but didn't see that it was. That was disappointing in the island paradise that needs to be protected.
Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed this house. Situated within walking distance of a great beach and close to plenty of shopping, you couldn’t ask for a better location. The property is fenced in which allows for privacy and a sense of security. There are plenty of amenities in the house including surfboards, boogie boards, chairs and an umbrella for the beach, bikes a ping pong table, a hammock and much more. We had a great time and would stay there again in a heartbeat!
Well organized for a group of 6. We enjoyed the yard, bikes &,beach equipment. The kitchen is well equipped. We ate most meals here.
Very close to the beach. Very private with beautiful landscaping. Well supplied with all the beach equipment you'd need. Spacious and comfortable for our group. Walkable to some good food, snorkeling, boogie boarding and sun sets!
This house is incredible and it has EVERYTHING you could need. Communication with Tammy is easy if you have any questions or need anything. Excellent beach access down the street and a huge yard. The gate also gave us a peace of mind with our toddler.
Ideal location for beach and ocean lovers! Beach is only 2 minutes away. 30 minutes to other Maui destinations like Lahaina and Road to Hana.Home was beautifully decorated and nice layout. Two twin beds upstairs have a low ceiling so tall people may feel tight. Our family would definitely return to this home rental.
The house was perfect for our visit with family. There were multiple areas inside and out to relax or spend time in. The grounds were beautiful...even one orchid blooming.
This lovely Hawaiian home was everything we needed. The location is incredible with restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, and highway access very close by. The Charlie Young beach/Kameole 1 Beach is half a block away with a long wide beach and sandy access into the water. Our adult kids played cornhole for hours in the yard, and there’s also a ping-pong table along with everything we needed for the beach. The house itself was always refreshingly cool, we had plenty of hot water for showers, laundry, and dishes, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make meals at home. There is both a Keurig and traditional drip coffee maker. The king size bed was a bit firm for our taste, but the queen, full, and two twins were very comfy as was all the bedding. The upstairs bedroom does not have a door, but it is not visible from the rest of the house though sound does travel up there. Of worthy note is that the house did not have bugs (well, one baby gecko inside), and the critters outside were geckos, lizards, snails, and one praying mantis. We didn’t have cockroaches or ants to deal with, and we only saw only one big spider in one of the outside plants. Very nice!We would readily stay here again and happily recommend this property. Had a great time at this place. Tammy was nice and welcoming the place is great. A 1 minute walk to Charlie Young beach. The place is very convenient and well set up for a large group.

Reviews I read hinted at how wonderful this place is and it's true and then some. The grounds, furnishings, equipment, kitchen, and everything you would want in a home to be comfortable were there. So many nice touches and if you want to cook some or all of your meals, you will have no problem having everything you need include a BBQ grill. I only wish we had more time to make use of all the house had to offer. The beach is just a three minute walk to the south and two minute walk to the north is a cove to watch surfers. It's on a quiet street just off the main road and accessible to restaurants, stores, and not a long drive to the other parts of the island. Owner was friendly and communication was easy, friendly, and helpful. We're grateful for a special time.

Perfect walking location to all the beaches and amenities in Kihei. House was beyond well stocked and had every item you’d want or need for the beaches. The grounds were great to lay about in and the property overall was in top shape. Will certainly look to book again if we ever travel with another family.
Had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property for a week. 5 adults and two little ones. The home is very comfortable, nice furniture, blankets, comfy beds, comfy outdoor furniture, well appointed kitchen, and the bikes were so fun too. The outdoor tub was a hit with the kids and the outdoor shower (with warm water!!) was loved by all. Perfect location for this beautiful, secluded private yard located 1/2 block from nice beach, close to groceries, restaurants etc. Tammy was an exceptional host, we had two separate requests that were dealt with very efficiently and with grace- much appreciated. Hope to get back here again as it’s the nicest place we’ve ever stayed at in Maui - Recommend 100% if could give more than 5 stars we would. Thanks Tammy:)
