Unfortunately, this property was a true disappointment except for the location. The picture make it look quite charming in a traditional Hawaiian home or inn sort of way. Upon entering the home had a stale smell that even by our 3rrd day was a challenge to overcome even with the windows open with a breeze. The beds were comfortable, however the kitchen which we had hope to enjoy some cooked meals with our family was not functional and also disorganized and unclean. Neither the oven or the stove worked during our stay. We were told it was being replaced next day. There was a box freezer adding to the counter space, when opened to use was shocked that it was filled with dirty moldy, old cookware and junk small appliances. The deck chairs off the MBR ahead not been wiped off or cleaned in a long time and we’re unusable to even enjoy the ocean view. The grounds had some lovely shrubs, but the landscape and entry area is not maintained to the point where the dead grass clippings on the entry mat and this was was brought into the house each time we entered. No brooms to even clean ourselves. The host was not very welcoming or friendly, so we chose to steer clear unless we needed assistance with the WiFi. An adjacent motel owned by the same person, or managed by the same, is sharing all the same parking and yard access points so home and property is not entirely private as one would believe. We are premier host family and do understand this business. But hope something changes at this place for future VRBO guests.

Cool old plantation home with excellent natural ventilation. Amazing location. Has some quirks due to the age and it was previously a bed and breakfast. We did not see a single mosquito.
