The unit is comfortable, spacious, and has everything you need to be on Maui. Owners communicated clearly and went above and beyond to smoothly start our stay.
The place is excellent. Very clean. Lots of amenities for the beach including coolers and large water bottles which were excellent for our hike and picnic afterwards! Bed was comfy! Lots of towels for the place and the beach. The hosts are very attentive and responsive and provided a great list of local restaurants in all price ranges. It was also a quiet location which was really nice as my husband and I went diving most mornings and thus went to bed on the early side!!
The hosts of this condo unit did an incredible job of making sure we had everything we needed for our vacation. Quality beach chairs, thoughtful coolers and bags to make our beach mornings seamless as well as comfortable furniture to return to made coming and going seem just like home. The kitchen had all the tools for and the cabinets had just the right supplies for cooking in. Loved that they gave us plenty of laundry detergent! Our favorite part was probably the lanai (patio) though. Always in the shade, with super comfortable furniture, our family ate just about every meal out there. I also really appreciated how responsive the host was to any small question I had. Our family would highly recommend this condo!
This condo was extremely well appointed, including an abundance of plush, high-quality towels, and bedding, throws to cozy up with on a very comfortable sectional couch, fabulous outdoor seating on the lanai, lots of kitchen, utensils, and dishes, including a brand new ninja blender for making smoothies. We have rented a lot of condos through vrbo over the years, and this was by far the most comfortable and well stocked unit that we have rented. The owner was lovely to deal with. I highly recommend this unit.
My favorite thing about this place is that there is everything you will need and more! Beach towels, shade umbrella, wagon, snorkeling gear and the list goes on and on! Beautiful place and the owners are so nice and help you with whatever you need! Such a great experience!
Unit was beautiful and located directly across from the beach. Also, everything possible you could use during your stay was available. It was well maintained and grounds were in excellent condition. Owner was easy to reach during the entire process and kept us well informed. All equipment and appliances were in excellent working condition and there were no issues during our stay. It was a lovely unit and we would not hesitate to go back.
Very comfortable and well appointed. Felt like a home and we enjoyed the modern styling.
Love the property. Convenient to all attractions around Kihei. The host was super responsive and attentive to all details and very flexible with check in early as well.
My mom, teen daughter and I enjoyed our stay at Kamaole sands- 10 years aftero our last stay at the resort! Shannon and Tom's condo was so comfortable, with lovely updates and a huge lanai where we enjoyed coffee, meals and lazing on the couch, listening to the birds. Great access to Kamaole beaches, a 15 minute walk to the lovely Keawakapu beach and an easy drive to Wailea, the location is perfect and we enjoyed the comfortable king bed and quiet, peaceful space to relax after long days at the beach and pool! The kitchen had everything we needed for meals and the lanai closet was well stocked with chairs, boogie boards and snorkeling gear. Hope to be back again (before 10 years this time!)

Everything about this property was great! Walking distance to the beach and came with beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas. It was easy to accommodate 4 women on our girl’s trip between the master bedroom, pullout couch, and two bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again!
This condo in Bldg 4 of Kamaole Sands suited our needs perfectly. Master Bedroom/Bath was comfortable with a soft bed to crash after a day out in the sun. The shower had great water pressure, hair dryer was powerful. Extras like Q-tips, cotton balls and plenty of TP were appreciated.
We had several other families staying in other units in this complex and the living space in this one was far superior to the others. Nice sectional couch, chair, table for 4 plus three bar stools gave ample seating. Another sectional couch on the lanai was awesome for reading and relaxing.
The kitchen, albeit small, has absolutely everything you’d need, including napkins, paper towels, aluminum foil, baggies, etc. Lots of dishes and glasses, as well as cookware.
The lanai’s closet held everything you’d need for the beach including a cart to haul across the street to the beach (again, other units our family rented from did not all have these). Four beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers and sand toys.
Kamaole Sands is strict on security (quiet hours 10:00 pm-8:00 am) so prepare for a knock on the door even before 10:00 (not so much before 8:00 am). We didn’t get “in trouble” But my brother in Bldg 5 was approached as he went to his condo to get something at 6:45 one night. Security said there was a complaint. He politely told them nobody was even in their room. We’ve started at KS 3X over last five years and this happens every y

We loved our stay at this condo. Had everything you needed and more. The owners were always quick to respond and very friendly. The mattress was great and the location of the condo to the beach was quick and easy. We would definitely go come back again in a heartbeat !
This is by far the #1 condo we have ever stayed. Host Shannon was very friendly and professional in proactive communication. Shannon has thought about everything and her condo was stocked with everything that you need, from salt/pepper, beach chairs/boogie boards, wagon wheel, towels, tps etc. Kitchen has all utensils well maintained.
Super Walkable distance to amazing shallow sandy shore beach. Safe for kids sandy beach. We went to the beach every day. Restaurants are walkable distance too.
Excellently maintained and spacious. We will visit her condo when we come to Maui again. Two Thumbs up.
