    Kalanikai 208 is situated in the heart of Kailua-Kona Village amongst lush tropical landscaping. This is one street above Alii Drive. Walking distance to stores, restaurants, the ocean, beaches Starbucks and the new Safeway located directly behind us. This one bedroom condo offers a queen size bed with a memory foam topper and lots of storage space. Bathroom has large vanity with sink, toilet and shower/tub combo. Kitchen is fully equipped with a long eating bar, has a large fridge with filtered ice and water, microwave, range with oven, blender, dishwasher, garbage disposal and more. Living room has a sleeper sofa, dining area, flat screen TV, corner desk, free fiber optics high speed wifi. Washer and dryer are also in the unit. Air conditioning in living room and 1 (free) assigned parking space.

    Super clean, centrally located property. All the amenities were there from pots, pans, cooking utensils and extra towels and limes made for a really nice stay. Pictures are 100% accurate and communication with the property manager was seamless. Highly recommend!’

    We were so happy with our stay on the Big Island of Hawaii. The condo was perfect and had all the necessities you could want for your vacation. Full kitchen was super useful to make a meal for the off days and not needing to go out for every meal. Location was really nice, short walk to the downtown area. Close to many restaurants and Walmart

    Overall the condo was great very clean neat and plenty of supplies. It’s a good location only a short walk to town with shops and lots of restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and all the appliances work great. Two small things the Lani was small and not big enough to sit and they only had one smoking area in the front and no bench to sit on and was close to the street it didn’t feel secure.

    It was a longer walk to Alii Drive than I anticipated. It wasn’t too far for normal folk but my husband has trouble walking so we had to drive every time and try to find parking.

    The unit (Kalanikai 208) was clean, comfortable and very well equipped for our month-long stay. The pool is great - always clean and enjoyable and the grounds are well-maintained. The management company was responsive to issues within the unit. The thing that really affected our stay was the gutting and complete renovation going on in the unit below. The noise was always present and we could not relax in the unit during the day. In fact, some days we had to leave the condo due to the unpredictable and deafening use of a jackhammer drill. We know that the owner cannot control what goes on in other units but feel we should have had notice of this activity before our stay, or at least some compensation for the time we could not use the unit. The lack of response from the owner was disappointing. We won’t be renting this unit again. We have stayed in KalaniKai on two different locations in the past and we think that the general daytime noise in the area has increased (traffic, noise from adjacent condos beginning early morning). Also, there is no AC in bedroom so windows must remain open and the noise from the driveway, adjacent condos, and pool is especially loud in this unit.
