    What's nearby:
Hotel Molokai is located about two miles from the main town of Kaunakakai. Perfect place to be centrally located and explore the island. At the east end of Molokai, you will find great little beaches, a playground for the little ones, and a small market with takeout foods is a good hour drive. Nothing special about this place. Things I didn’t like: No phone to call restaurant or front desk No plastic cup No nose tissue No AC Shower spout was at mouth level for me and I had to bend/squat to shower Dead Cockroaches in the room Damn roosters cockadoodling at 3 in the morning. Can’t close the windows cause that will make the room hotter TV had no TV guide. Each time had to scroll through the 62 channels to find the station to watch Had to wait 10 minutes over my phone to check out just to get a receipt for my stay because the front desk of “Molokai Hotel” doesn’t deal with customers of “Vacasa” At least there was a kitchenette with utensils, plates, and cups

Hopefully they get this fixed but it was unpleasant to say the least.

I liked the hotel and room. It is Very quiet, relaxing, and just what we wanted for a spiritual experience. This was a special visit for my husband and me. We enjoyed our quiet time away from the noise and respect that Molokai residents want the same. This island is not for anyone as it may not offer the same as the other touristy areas like Maui, Oahu, and Kauai. This authentic island experience reminds me of how I grew up. Molokai is very similar to other Hawaiian islands, but the critical difference is not having many people, tourists, and noise.

Beautiful property and view. Nice clean accommodations (a little dated but generally in good shape). Great location on the center of the island.

It took over 24 hours for management company to respond to me on a safety issue. I attempted to reach them 5 times in that period. Room was dated & not the cleanest. They would not respond to me to assist with Rental car & things to do for weeks. I made 3 attempts before I even got there - Management company needs to get their act together The grounds were immaculate & the views were the highlight of my vacation.
