Surface clean but overall very out dated and old floor coverings with dirt cakes on from over the years and dusty fans, patio, room corners. Needs a very hood deep cleaning and updates to make it feel clean since everything is so old.

The view in 251 is amazing. Truly. And that’s the only nice thing I can say about it. This condo is for 6 people, and yet we were given 5 bath towels, 5 beach towels, 3 soup spoons and 3 teaspoons. There are 5 coffee cups, and 5 bowls. So if you like doing dishes and laundry every 5 minutes this condo is for you. I called Vacasa to ask for more towels, cutlery and mugs and was told we would have someone replenish the condo. Which they never did. The condo was very dusty and dirty. The top of the fridge, the cupboards and the tv area were soooo dirty, like no one had stayed in a few months. The tap doesn’t like to turn off in the kitchen, it’s very touchy. There is no sink stopper so doing the dishes is done in a bowl or with the tap running. There was a damp duvet cover in the dryer (not going) that we found 2 days after arriving (that we realized went on the master bed). There was so much sand in the washing machine that even after vacuuming it out, there was always sand covering our clothing after washing. We have stayed in a lot of the Hale Kamaole condos over the years, and I have to say this is the worst appointed condo out of the ones we have stayed at. For how much the condo cost, we were very disappointed. Would NOT rent 251 again

There is no central air-conditioning. It is very hot everywhere except two rooms. I will not suggest here to others.

We stayed in this unit for a week. The first day, I was skeptical because it was very hot and the air was not cooling the unit, but trust the information and open the doors and get the tradewinds through to cool it off! I loved that we were so close to Kam III beach and the room had a wealth of beach supplies to use. The pool was very clean, but there are a LOT of rules! Some parts of the house needed some attention - moldy washer/dryer, floor trim pulled away from the wall, ants in the unit.

Upon arriving at the property, I was aghast at the state of the condo. The area rug in the main living area had stains and rips, the baseboards hadn’t been cleaned in many many stays and, we found several cockroaches, which albeit is typical for that climate, so can be overlooked perhaps, but in addition to the very unkempt house, just adds to the disappointment. This property is very bare-bones, as stated. However, in the downstairs bedroom, there was soap residue on the sheets, and the sheets were too small for the bed, and the bed was lumpy. The carpeting on the stairs and the upper floor hadn’t been replaced and was showing more than just reasonable signs of wear and staining. The kitchen had three spoons, completely mismatched glasses, and not enough of anything unless you wanted to wash dishes by hand after every single meal. I will say that Vacasa was quite quick to get extra cleaning supplies delivered, however it would’ve been nice to have somebody come in and clean the entire suite appropriately rather than have to do it ourselves on a vacation. I will not be staying here again, and though Vacasa did try to right things, it was still a very disappointing experience overall as they only did so half heartedly, I felt.

The beds were comfortable and the linens soft.
