We loved the views from the balcony and seeing turtles on the beach in the mornings. Very convenient location to activities, grocery, food trucks. The Moroccan restaurant close by was delicious and wonderful experience.
If you want a room with a view, this place is awesome! It is on a picture perfect beach! The property is older, the updates in our unit were poorly done in terms of quality of workmanship, but it had most things we needed for a week's vacation. To help you decide if it works for you, here's what we didn't like. No real air conditioning and the ceiling fans are past their prime. The window AC unit is loud and old and does nothing to help the bedroom -- it was hot and stuffy the entire week and the bedroom ceiling fan barely moves air (tradewinds were no fix for heat and humidity in early May). The washer/dryer is a shared coin laundry (3 per load) and the hours are annoying (8 am to 8 pm) -- so no option to do laundry in the evening after dinner or early in the day -- which is what I do on vacation. The pool is beautiful, but the hours are restricted -- no early or late swimming -- which doesn't work for eastern time zone people wanting an early morning swim. That said the location is central and it's easy to get around and see and do everything on Maui. It is in a neighborhood, not only a tourist area and some streets are really nice, others are not that great. The balcony is fantastic for enjoying morning coffee or a snack at sunset. The view is awesome and it's on one of the best beaches in the vincinity.
Second floor condo overlooking the beautiful grass grounds, palm trees and ocean. Very quiet neighborhood as well as the condos! 2-5 minute walk to grocery store and several restaurants and even a live show theatre. Long walking beach where we saw sea turtles basking in the sun. We could not have had a better stay!!
I loved the view from the second floor lanai. There was always a cool breeze blowing in to keep us cool and even though this unit had a great air conditioner, we didn’t need to use it. It also had an amazing beach, way less busy than other more southern Kihei beaches we’ve stayed near. I would absolutely book this condo again and highly recommend it. It had everything we needed and a few extras too!
We enjoyed the location of the stay - we had family staying at the HKOK as well and also at the resort right behind the unit. The view from the patio is unbeatable. Our unit seemed to have tiny little pests coming up from the sink and shower and oven. Luckily, we did not cook in our unit at all but that definitely would have been a problem if we planned to. I understand the listing indicates there are bugs everywhere but none of the other 3 units our family rented had the same issue. I also noticed that the unit could definitely use a deep clean - like washing the bed skirt and deep cleaning the grout in the shower. Again, in comparison to the other units, ours just fell a little short for comparable pricing. That said, the view and location was great for the beach and store right down the way. We enjoyed the food truck court nearby as well!

This condo has a beautiful 2nd floor view of the ocean and is feet from the beach. It's close to shopping, dining and the main road in Kihei. My husband and I had plenty of room and the kitchen was well stocked. We plan to stay here the next time we visit Kihei.
We traveled all around Maui and saw many places where we could have stayed. This place is small and quiet but the best part is that it is actually on the beach. One doesn't have to drive or walk across streets to play in the ocean. Beautiful!
The place was perfectly provisioned. There were items for our use that we hadn't known we'd need. It took us a day to figure out which controls went with what lights/fans/etc.
One issue: the A/C unit could use an update --- the one in the condo barely did any cooling.
But, again, this is probably as close to perfect for us -- it fit nicely into our budget too.
Easy walk across the grass to the sandy beach. Lots of dinning and shopping choices within an easy walk. Well supplied single-bedroom, bath, kitchen and living room - perfect for two.
This condo was clean, comfortable and in such a great location! The view from the balcony was amazing, especially at sunset. Everything that you needed was provided, along with extra touches like a cooler bag and snacks.
Would highly recommend!
Great location with a great view and great beach access. Really uncomfortable bed though.
