We took our family of 7 to Maui and stayed in this beautiful VRBO. It was everything it appeared to be online. The location was absolutely perfect. Close to the pool and beach. I loved being on the ground floor so we could just walk on out. No elevators! Even better than these units were the staff we worked with! Top notch! Can’t wait to return.
The ONLY negative thing I noticed was that the carpet is in great need of some cleaning! But that’s truly the only negative thing we noticed.

There are no words to describe our wonderful week in West Maui at the Honua Kai Resort. Stunning location, quick responses to our every request/need, immaculate grounds and spacious accommodations…having two side-by-side units at ground level was a huge advantage and everyone in our group agreed that if the opportunity came, we would come back to the exact place in a heartbeat! We came as a family of eight adults for a 2-year delayed (thanks COVID!) reunion, and it was even better than we might have hoped. Thank you so much to the property owners and management for helping provide many happy memories!

My family of 13 (1 toddler) were limited options due our size but these rental units were the perfect fit for us! With adjacent rooms, we were able to combine the tables out on the lanai to enjoy many wonderful joint family dinners and have access to each others rooms on the fly. Each unit was well stocked with kitchen supplies, beach supplies, board games, and extra linens. The resort pool and access to the beach was also unparalleled (less than 2 min walk away!). The only things we would recommend improving upon is more seasoning available (there was only salt, pepper, and oil provided ), aluminum foil for grilling, and a better mattress on the pull out couch for unit 143. The one on 145 was amazing! Overall, our expectations were exceeded and we highly recommend this property for large families!
