    Hawaii> Kailua-Kona
    • 2 bedroom
    • 2 bathroom
    • Sleeps 6

Awe inspiring views and once-in-a-lifetime experiences await you from our newly renovated, ocean/beachfront (direct ocean access) Kona Reef Condo. 2 BR/2BA (sleeps 4-6).

Kona Reef is a highly desired resort for it's walking proximity to Kona town, location right on the water and being adjacent to Honl's beach with water access. Unit A1 is agruable the premier unit of the complex with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, each room having a stunning view out to the beach and ocean. It is beautifully and tastefully remodeled, it has a newly installed split AC system, and it is ground level (so getting out to nature and activities is easy).

There is a parade of activities in the ocean and on shore right out in front of the condo. You can take on the "World Championship Iron Man" cours (yep, we live on it with with swim turn around buoy right in front and the run course along Ali'i Drive. Watching the surfers and boogie boarders is often my choice of morning entertainment, as I watch them in awe, with my cup of "Kona Coffee" in hand, right from the lanai. FYI: The "boogie board" was created by Tom Morey in 1971 and was first used on Honl's beach on the break directly in front of the condo.

Grab a cup or a glass of whatever you like and watch it all. From when the sun first comes up in the morning to it's next "magnificent - Jaw Dropping" end of the day SHOW! The sunsets are never the same and always stunning in their own unique way. Watch the dolphins spin, the whales breach, the outrigger canoe teams practice, adventurers parasailing, turtles in tidepools, Monk seals (if you're really lucky) come up on the beach, and listen to the waves crash, all from your condo. Sound UNREAL? It is really rather "Other Worldly," but it's our front yard and you can be in it! Comfy custom built couch and chairs on the lanai and windows throughout the unit enable you to take in and feel a part of the daily show.

Take part of any of the amazing island tours and wrap up the day with sunset happy hour around the pool with owners blowing the pu' as the sun disappears in the turquoise ocean. Or stay near home and search the tidepools in front for pooka and cowry shells. Honl's beach next door has daily yoga classes and some evenings fire spinning or bubble blowing shows you can watch from the comfort of the unit or venture out to participate.

Walk to the heart of Kailua Kona town, which is only a 5 minute leisurely stroll away. As you go, ...

Property was perfect for our family of four and our week stay on the Big Island. Location is perfect right next to Honls Beach. We started each morning with yoga on the beach and listening to the waves crashing while enjoying a cup of coffee on the lanai. Our teens loved being able to make the short walk into town and explore the shops of Kailua Kona. Thanks for an amazing stay and we would definitely come back.

Bills place was perfect. Walkable to all the local restaurants and shops. There’s a beautiful beach right next door and a view of surfers everyday. The house had everything we needed to include beach chairs, towels, coolers, small amount of dish and laundry soap, and snorkel gear. Check in was super easy and Bill gave great directions.

The view and access to a sandy beach is unbeatable. Quick walk to downtown restaurants and shopping. The condo had everything you might need, beach chairs, yoga mats, fully equipped kitchen, and the perfect lanai to watch the sunrise and sunset. Communication with the owner was great with all the information you could need at just the right time. Everything was as just as described.
