Clean great priced condo on the beach, not best location or prettiest beach/waters but great for the price.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beach was wide clean and long. We walked for hours without seeing almost anyone. The unit was functional and clean as advertised. The location is great for going to the beach but not great for restaurants and stores. You’ll need a car to drive into town. Property managers were responsive and friendly.
Unit is exactly how described in the listing. We truly enjoyed our time.

Really great place to stay, central location, clean with easy access.Only request is, please keep shampoo, conditioner and body wash to support your guests instead of 2 small tubes of shampoo only.The first thing we needed to do is to run to the store and get these even when we were paying top dollars like any other resort.

Close to great snorkeling, grocery stores, easy access to the rest of the island!
Enjoyed the spectacular sunsets from our patio. The pool and hot tub were nice.
We liked this property and it suited our needs. The only thing was the bugs! We thought they were mosquitoes but were told by locals gnats. But seriously like hundreds of them on the external lanai doors, floor, walls. Clean when we showed up but the next morning so many bugs. The second night we were really careful with the lights, and my ocd husband even vacuumed the bugs outside…but they were back. So for us made the lanai not useable. Otherwise good!
Condo was clean and perfectly located. Easy drive to many locations on Maui. Right on the beach, and beach was never crowded.
This resort is close to the airport and is centrally locted for going in any direction….
Great views, clean place and comfortable bed. Everything as advertised. We like Sugar Beach Resort and this was an updated nice looking condo.
We initially booked this property & were excited to find an oceanfront condo at an affordable price.
Unfortunately, we ultimately got far less than we paid for.
After an 18-hour travel day, we arrived at the property shortly before 10:00 PM. The check-in process was smooth.
However, upon entering the unit, our experience took a turn for the worse. We immediately noted that the bathroom had not been adequately cleaned: the toilet had been used & not flushed; there were clumps of hair in the shower drain; & there was sand in the shower grout. Though the remainder of the unit appeared clean, the unhygienic state of the bathroom raised concerns about the bedding and kitchen. Given the late hour & long day, we decided that it was not feasible to wait for the property manager to re-sanitize the unit & made alternative plans for our first night.
Early the next morning, we sent a message through VRBO & emailed the property manager in an effort to work out a solution. And then...silence.
We heard nothing from either the owner of the unit or the property management company for over 48 hours.
Despite our time-stamped photos demonstrating the state of the unit, the owner insinuated we were lying about its condition. He acknowledged receipt of our message the morning it was sent but failed to follow up with us for over two days. No apology or refund was offered.
We cannot overstate Dan's lack of professionalism and poor customer service. Book this unit at your own risk.
Dan’s place was clean and convenient to so things. Great communication and easy check-in and out.

Great condo with all of the amenities including a washer and dryer which is a big plus.
