Welcome to Ke Alohi Kai, an elegant, calming oceanfront home in a secure, gated neighborhood near Kona Village that offers spacious indoor/outdoor gathering areas as well as 5 private bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom.
As you follow the path through the courtyard over the salt water pond and pass the water feature that blends with the tropical Hawaiian landscape, you will breathe in the aroma of ever-blooming flowers and ocean salt air. This courtyard links the main house and the private detached guest suite.
You have arrived through the stunning foyer with soaring ceilings and abundant windows and are drawn to the sound of the ocean waves crashing under the setting sun.
The open main floor living room and kitchen blend seamlessly as Fleetwood pocket doors disappear into the wall, and reveal an expansive covered lanai with an outdoor sectional, dining table, and grill/cooking station with sink and beverage fridge. Miele appliances and built in coffee maker as well as temperature controlled wine storage and multiple refrigerator drawers in the kitchen and pantry provide endless options for food and beverage preparation. Past the glass railing of the lanai is a 180 degree view of the ocean and oversized mosaic tile salt water pool. The lanai or pool area under Tucci umbrellas is where you will spend most of your time, sipping local Kona coffee as the sun rises and ending with a cool beverage at the end of the day.
The solid doors close and quiet the waves as you retreat to the air conditioned and climate controlled indoor space. Each bedroom suite and living space can be controlled by a digital tablet with one-touch settings for lighting, motorized shades, and media/music, providing a restful space.
Do you need transportation in Kona? We can arrange for a superior Jeep to be delivered and waiting for you at the house for your stay (subject to additional charges).

We absolutely loved it! When you go to a house many times the amenities are slightly less than perfect. That was not the case with this home. Plenty of space to get away, and plenty of space for large gatherings. The pool and ocean side location Made for an enjoyable stay. Especially listening to the waved rolling in at night when laying in bed. The range of activities in the Kona area or excellent, and we even visited a shopping place called Coconut Grove… Considering more from Coconut Grove, Florida we felt like it was a home away from home. We would definitely recommend this home.

We stayed at this house for 10 days and the property is amazing. Been to Kona a dozen times and staying on the ocean was the first time. Favorite place is the Lanai watching the waves!!!
The house is very high tech with the lights and blinds. For those not familar with Crestron, every button is programmed and can be confusing. Took about 2 days to learn the which buttons were what especially in the dark, but we managed it.
The QR Code for the burners in kitchen was great and would be very beneficial to others to do a YouTube video on the lights and how to reset the buttons at the bottom of the switch panel if needed.
The property managers were great and responded quick for any issues we had. Enjoyed our stay

We have been coming to the Big Island for years, but staying at this house was one of our best experiences.
The fantastic setting on the Kona coast with beautiful sunsets from both lanai and the sound of soothing surf was so relaxing. The state of-art amenities, with generous refrigeration space, and luxury appointments in each bedroom suite are a tribute to the owner/architect’s flare for practical but luxurious design. The waterfall and walkway in the courtyard were unique; the sitting areas on the main floor and pool area were the family’s favorite. The short walk to the lava/coral coastline was a bit rough but worth the view.
Located close to beaches, restaurants and shopping made everyone happy. The VRBO description and pictures were right-on. Most of all: Anne, the concierge, was most helpful and appreciated. She quickly responded to all our calls and questions and gave helpful instructions. The welcome centerpiece of Hawaiian fruits and snacks was unexpected and greatly appreciated.

This was the perfect place for 4 couples to spend a relaxing week! Amazing house with all of the amenities we needed and beautiful views. We spent most of our time on the lanai- views and comfort were beyond what we expected. The host was amazing, even offering to stock starter groceries for us. If we needed anything, she or her husband responded right away. The house was spacious, each couple had ample privacy. The house is set up all on remote technology. While this was very modern and cool, sometimes a little hard to figure out for us Gen X and Boomers! Haha. Loved the entire stay and would rent again in a heart beat!

This was a great home. Conveniently located. Kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils and appliances. We had a family of 10 and it accommodated us beautifully. Terrific pool and the view off the deck was amazing. Our concierge (Anne) was wonderful. The hot water heater went out on our first day and she got it fixed in short order. Would highly recommend this!

Host was available to answer any question we had and over delivered on our expectations with taking care of us. She communicated with the owner and was able to get us a few perks which were very kind of them. Pool was solar heated and always warm as we had sunny days every day of our stay. They provide everything we needed for the beach. Of all the years we have been doing vacation rentals this one was the best. Totally amazing property and host. We will be back again for sure. Book this property you will have a once in a lifetime stay, better than any other just like we did.

The house is beautiful, spacious, very clean, conveniently located, and has incredible views. We had a couple of a small issues, which were addressed promptly by the management company. We hope to come back!
