We stayed here for six days in July, and it could not have been a more perfect space for my family! There are two beautiful bedrooms, and a third room which is considered a den, but I asked in advance for the futon to be made up as a bed and it was perfect for our teenage son.

The unit is directly overlooking a beautiful beach and grassy area, with super easy access. We loved being able to use the pools & restaurants & beach towels & chairs at the Westin, and we walked over to the Mauna Kea several times as well because it’s a very pretty 20 minute easy hike, right along the water (there is also a shuttle at the front lobby that that will whisk you over there if you don’t wanna walk, and we drove one time also which took us about 3 minutes)

We would absolutely love to stay here again… It was perfect!

Unit A32 at Hapuna (Mauna Kea Residences) was a great place to stay while on the Big Island. Right on the beach! We enjoyed both the Hapuna and Mauna Kea amenities yet could still retreat to our fully stocked kitchen when we felt like a taste of home. Highly recommend this location!
