Get a taste of the tropics both inside and out at this darling, third-floor condo. Save a little money and prepare home-cooked meals in the well-equipped, full kitchen, and then dine together at the adjacent table for four or alfresco on your furnished terrace overlooking the beach. While you'll likely be spending most of your time on the beach or exploring the island, this home also includes a cozy, sunlit living area complete with a sofa bed and a cable-equipped, TV for when you want to just put your feet up and channel surf.

You're welcome to stay seaside for your whole trip, but you'll be within a few blocks of several eateries and a short drive to parks and golf if you decide to venture out.

Spend your days on the soft sand on Lahaina's infamous coast. Nohonani offers a seasonal private beach; depending on the swells, the sand may be rocks. If you feel like swapping the saltwater for the shared pool, you won't have to miss the view because it’s oceanfront.

    -Beachfront outdoor pool (heated)
-Private beach access (seasonal and weather dependant)
    -Gas grill

Just a short walk away, you'll find an abundance of fresh produce at Farmers Market Maui. Nearby Honokowai Park offers a playground, lots of shade, and a great spot to set up your beach chair. You'll find Ka'anapali Beach, Black Rock, and Whaler's Village just over two miles south.

Our stay was wonderful. JD, the Nohonani Manager, was friendly and helpful. The location is close to many fabulous snorkeling spots and the snorkeling in front of the condo is decent too. We saw lots of turtles swimming by while we were sitting on the lanai. Wish the screen door to the lanai worked so we could have had some air circulation in the kitchen and living room but other than that we liked the condo.

Loved it all! The waves crashing were my favorite

I have stayed in many units in Nohonani complex. This one was in the best location but was very uncomfortable and by far the worst kept. The furniture was very outdated, master bed legs were broken. All furniture was old and uncomfortable. Wiring was janky, frayed, cockroaches in the kitchen. It is so sad because this unit is perfect for watching turtles and whales. We enjoyed our trip due to being outside. Inside… not so much. And by far was the most expensive. I won’t stay in this unit again unless they update it and fix the issues. Thinking maybe staying at a different complex next time.

Pro: Location, view from balcony... you can see turtles and wonderful sunsets! Great for snorkeling if sea is quiet. Condo offers everything you need! Shops and restaurants in walking distance. Con: No air condition, but we knew this before and got used to it. It can be very hot even at night. And it is very loud at night if you leave the windows open. We had storm and high waves smashing against the house the first days - there was really a lot of noise with open windows at night. You need to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. With quiet ocean you get used to the sound of the waves. For the beach - it is very small and there are lot of stones. Beach shoes will help.
