Inside, the bedroom is a peaceful sanctuary featuring a plush Cal-King bed and a charming beach mural that brings a touch of Maui's coastline indoors. The living area is bright, airy, and comfortable, with sliding glass doors framing the ocean views and letting in the gentle sounds of the waves. Ceiling fans and a window AC in the living area keep you perfectly cool. Standard Cancellation Policy:
If cancellation notice is received 30 or more days prior to the check-in date, a 100% refund will be refunded within 10-14 business days from receipt of written cancellation.
If cancellation notice is received at least 14 days prior to the check-in date, 50% of the booking will be refunded within 10-14 business days from receipt of written cancellation.
For a cancellation notice received after 14 days prior to the check-in date, a refund will not be issued other than the departure cleaning fee.

You can’t beat the view from the lanai. Condo is in an older building with no amenities and beach is not good for swimming. No laundry in unit or on site which is a negative when you are staying longer than a week. Unit has a lot of beach gear which is nice. Times Grocery store is within walking distance. Overall our stay was great for the price point.

We recently stayed at Maui Seaside for 8 days, 7 nights. We are avid VRBO people... we always opt for an apt, condo or house on vacation so that we feel like we are coming "home" after a long adventurous day. We always base our decisions off reviews so I wanted to make sure to leave one here.
Pros:
1. THE VIEW!
2. LOCATION!
3. Well stocked.
4. I would say communication with management was 60/40. They responded quickly, but I never quite had my questions fully answered the first time.
Cons:
1. The unit was not clean. The bathroom fans were caked in dust so if you turned the light on then the dust with stick to the ceiling or fall on you. The couch had a crusty yellow "stain" over it which looked like someone threw raw eggs and just left it. The standing fan in the bedroom had built up huge chunks of dust and debris so when you had it on, it would shoot out the large chunks onto the bed. The bedskirt was supposed to be white, but was the same color as the floor.
2. Birds - patio was amazing, but there was always feces and urine. If you didn't have the screen closed at all times, they would wander in.
3. There is a window unit, but it didn't do anything. We were hot alllll theeee timeeee.
4. Pay attention to all their little "notes" that they have posted.
5. The dishwasher doesn't work right now although listed as available.
A deep deep clean and small upgrades would make such a difference, but until then, we wouldn't go back or suggest it.

Beautiful place to sit on the veranda and enjoy the ocean view and sunsets. Air conditioning would be nice in the bedroom, but at least fans were available. We loved our stay and hope to visit again!

The television was too tiny to see well from the couch. There is no beach out front though just a sea wall. Otherwise no complaints . The place was clean and spacious.

This is the place to stay in Maui. The view is awesome. The pictures don't do this place justice. You have to see the amazing view for yourself. Also, falling asleep to waves is the best. We were there for 8 days and only used the air twice. The cross winds from the living room to the bedroom keep the place cool. We slept with the windows open at night. Also, the lady downstairs, Marie, is super nice and her kitty Sadie is awesome. The beach is great as well. My husband would take the under water camera with him and he got great shots of fish in the reef. If you are looking for a place to stay that isn't a hotel, this is the place. Place definitely has a great view and the place was clean. We did come up short on towels and wash clothes and requested additional one's but nobody came by. We ended up purchasing more ourself. Thus the reason for 4 stars. Overall, the place was nice and we'd definitely come back again and recommend to others.

We loved our stay. You truly feel like you're surrounded on three sides by the ocean. The bed was huge and comfortable, and everything was just about perfect. We saw whales, sea turtles, and seals from the lanai every day. We were also surrounded by a monarch butterfly migration - so beautiful! We enjoyed our stay so much we are already hoping to rebook later this year. A small note: the screen door mentioned in previous reviews has not been fixed. It has holes in it and is rusted so it doesn't close fully. This wasn't an issue for us but would be if it were a buggier season. Otherwise, we really had no complaints. The kitchen had plenty to make simple meals; there were some basic spices and oils but I imagine they were leftover from previous guests so I wouldn't count on it. We enjoyed walking to the Farmers Market store each morning for vegetarian groceries and sandwiches. The house had beach chairs, towels, an umbrella and snorkel equipment in the back! We did not realize this before renting some, so check before you go to a rental shop. It felt like we were actually on a boat, we were so close to the water. We loved our stay and can't wait to come back. Absolutely recommend.

Maui seaside was the perfect location for my wife and I. Sunsets are beautiful. Walking distance to the market and restaurants. The host was very responsive and helful. Great experience!

The view is EVERYTHING! Enjoyed the location, amenities were great, everything we needed for the beach…snorkel gear chairs , water shoes , etc.
Really no need to watch tv but if so, the tv could be a little bigger
No access to the beach, would have liked that
I will definitely stay here again
