Sugar beach Resort unit# 336 is perfect for watching the humpback whales play during the winter months and each evening as the Maui sun sets off in the distance. The long stretch of beach below is the Sugar Beach, which is perfect for morning or evening walks, playing in the sand or taking a dip to cool off. Swimming at the pool, relaxing in the hot tub, hanging out at the poolside or BBQing your delicious food on the grill with a view of the beautiful ocean and palm trees. This resort also has a Deli and bar on site. This resort is conveniently located in North Kihei, which is perfect for accessing all that Maui has to offer. From Ululani’s shave ice, ABC store and farmers market around the corner, also to quick access to highways leading to Lahaina, Kahului and beyond....

The pictures do not do the view justice! Bright and open with the hum of the ocean right there. The perfect spot!

Sugar Beach Resort is a great location with less traffic than the rest of western Maui, and with great ocean-front condos. Ours was well-appointed and equipped, especially the kitchen.

This condo had everything we needed. The beachfront property and ocean view were wonderful. The sandy beach right out front was large and not busy. We did experience trouble with the washing machine and Chris had a plumber there the next day. Unfortunately, it was a new washer and a warrantly issue not a plumber issue. The location is close to stores and restaurants as well as a great base location for exploring the island. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at Sugar Beach many times, but this unit is our absolute favorite! The views are incredible, and the sound of the rolling waves carries all the way into the bedroom. We love the Sugar beach location because it’s still close to Kihei and Wailea but also close to the airport and the North Shore. The owner was incredibly responsive and answered my questions within minutes. Parking is great ,never had any issues and the spaces are wide and easy to get in and out of. The Kihei Canoe club offers visitors a chance to get out on the water in their beautiful canoes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. And it is within walking distance! also, within walking distance is the sugar beach bake shop, which has a delicious selection of freshly baked goods. The condo has all the kitchen equipment you would need for a stay, we enjoyed cooking and our unit and eating dinners on the balcony. We definitely are planning on coming back.

Great location looking directly at the beach. It gets breezy in this area, but the lanai is well-protected and was never windy. Pictures were accurate. The unit is overall a bit dated and could use a refresh, but everything worked, photos were accurate, it was clean, etc. Would stay again.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in Maui. It was a perfect location! Every morning we would have coffee out on the Lanai and watch the waves roll in. There were also AMAZING sunsets each evening! Everything was as expected from the description we had read when renting this condo. If anything can be improved it would be the furniture which is dated. The bed was also a bit uncomfortable for us.

Great lodging and awesome location! All facets of the stay were accurate and everything was clean and very well kept. Pool was great and the unit had EVERYTHING we needed. Chris was easy to communicate with and we would definitely stay here again!
