Loved the view from the bedroom
The process couldn't be any easier to book this very nice unit through VRBO. This is why used VRBO again and selected Honua Kai resort again because we know of the quality of this property. The fee structure is a bit stiff. That's the only reason for a 4 rating. The other small item is the floor upgrade was not great. The luxury vinyl was not good. Noisy walking on it, and the baseboards as well the boards at the transition from the tiles were poorly installed. We kept tripping over the transition piece from the kitchen. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great views from this unit and all features in the unit worked. The clothes dryer does not dry in sufficient time, it took many cycles to dry clothes.

Had a great time at the property. The pools are amazing and have awesome caves and a slide for the kids. Duke’s restaurant has a good variety too.

The condo furniture was nicely appointed. However it is stated that it is a non smoking unit and resort however it was very clear that it had been smoked in as the only way to rid the smell was to open the doors however each day after being out all day and returning the smell was very strong. I would say the overall cleanliness of the condo and the resort was not fantastic especially in light of what has been going on in the world.
I expressed these concerns to the management, they listened and gave me a bit of a refund.

The 1BR with a great view of the ocean and mountains was very clean and the kitchen adequately stocked for cooking. A/C was pre programmed but it was a nice temperature. The lanai was very spacious with a big table and several chairs. Only minor thing… would have loved a full length mirror. The property is spectacular with 3 pools, a restaurant “Dukes” and beach access. Small store/snack food store in lobby.

Ocean view, clean, easy access to a cot for my 4 year old. Awesome staff, super easy to communicate with property and a lovely place to spend our vacation. Not a lot of kitchen supplies but overall a perfect experience!

The property was perfect for our family of 4. Everything was clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. We loved the balcony view of the ocean and mountains. I can't wait to take my family here again. Mahalo!
Great condo for our little family. Very clean and a nice partial view. We loved spending time on the lanai, and we loved the 3 pools on the property!

Very smooth and easy check in and out. Location is in a nice area if Maui. Property was very nice and clean and located in a central area to the amenities.
Honua Kai is a very nice property. Well maintained and beautiful from all angles. Our unit was very nice with a partial view of the ocean and Molokai beyond. Furnishings were very nice and it was well equipped.
