Kahana Manor is located between Kaanapali and Kapalua. The complex offers a touch of old-world lifestyle with upstairs living and ground floor shops. We’re not your touristy hot spot. Having a car is convenient but not necessary. We're right across the street from beach access. A few minutes' walk to "S" Turn Beach and all the sea turtles that sunbathe there. Playing in the ocean year-round is the norm.

First of all, thanks for fantastic customer service including addressing the lock box issues I had upon arrival. Prior to and upon arrival Maui Paradise Properties were incredible!
Some suggestions for future customer experience:
1. It would be helpful to have more information on how to get to the pool on the property.
2. A collapsible drying rack would be great for bathing suits, etc.
3. Please add a set of measuring cups.
4. There is recycling on the property but no recycling bin in the apartment. It would be nice to have one to aid with sustainability efforts.
5. There was no soap for the shower upon arrival. Was that expected?

the place did not look like the one in the photos much older the air conditioning had a broken hose and only cooled the room the room did not cool down very hot with an unbearable noise from the freeway the corridors with a very strong smell the barbecues were very small and inside the picinae my wife opened the bedroom window to cool off and it filled with insects

Cute and cozy condo in a good location in between Lahaina and Kapalua. The neighborhood was very quaint and quick walk to the beach. Had everything we needed and was a great base for all of our time spent. There is noise from the highway but after a few nights you get used to it. Enjoyed our stay.

The unit faces a busy street and traffic is constant from 5 AM-10 PM. Noise levels from the AC and cars can be trying at night.

Overall experience good! Location great! My two disappointments were the noise level from the Highway at night. The uncomfortable mattress in the bedroom. Very disappointed with the bedroom bed mattress had a terrible backache. They need to replace the mattress to s more quality matress. Also the pullout in the living area couch not very comfortable but that’s to be expected on a couch hidabed . Other than those things the apartment is great .

We were really excited for our stay at this property as the pictures portrayed it as a clean, updated, and cozy condo on a part of the island we wanted to stay at but pictures can be deceiving I suppose. Upon arriving the first thing we noticed was an abundance of sand on not only the floor but also the dining room table which gave us an indication this room may not have been thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival. The overall cleanliness was not suitable for guests in my girlfriend and I’s opinion. Dirty dishes in the drawer in the kitchen from prior guests I’m assuming, hair and sand on the floors, smudges and gunk in the bathroom shower, sink, and the toilet also had a rink of filth around the water line in the bowl. Also lighting is very deceiving, the pictures they show a bright airy space that although the condo is small will feel bigger because of natural light however it was clear they used professionally lighting equipment to take those photos. The bathroom is very dark, there are only two dim lights in each section of the bathroom and you feel as though you are showering in the dark and on the sink side one of the bulbs were burned out of the two so it even amplified the effect further. In the living room they show nice sliding curtains around the large window however they have been replaced for black out rod curtains since the photos were done. Also due to the single pan windows and older construction of the building(outdated insulation) it is very warm in the room. Granted you are in Hawaii and it is humid and hot so it is to be expected you can not cool the bedroom down. We only slept in the bedroom our first night and spent the remaining 5 nights on the sleeper pull out sofa so that we could be in front of the A/C so that we could comfortably sleep. In its totality we were just disappointed with the condo, we enjoyed our time on the island as it was our first time visiting this island but after long days of hiking and beach hopping we never looked forward to going back to our room. It served its purpose as a place to stay at an affordable rate but beyond that I don’t see ourselves ever rebooking on our next trip back to the island.

A nice update for a comfy stay in Maui. Apartment stayed cool with fans and a portable AC unit.
This sounds silly, but one of MY FAVORITE things about this VRBO was the travel cooler and the beach chairs, these were awesome for our adventures!

My husband absolutely loved this place. It was perfect for just us two! The place was absolutely clean. Everybody in the complex was so nice. The food down below was AMAZING. I so recommend this place!

Great place to stay in a convenient area. Like other guests have mentioned, my only complaint is that noise from the highway is very loud. I brought along earplugs that I used at night and that helped.
