Welcome to Hale Ohana – a newly built vacation rental located in the coveted gated community, Holua Kai at Keauhou. This quiet neighborhood is surrounded by the Kona Country Club Ocean course and the Kona coast. This charming plantation style home is perfect for your Big Island getaway. The location is simply the best. Located close to everything that Kona has to offer – downtown area, water activities, tennis, pickleball, golf, hiking, local farmer's market, restaurants, shops, historical sites, coffee plantations and Keauhou Bay.
This cozy 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath vacation home sleeps up to 6 people comfortably. It features open living areas, making it an ideal home with a 16- foot glass door to a large lanai that is perfect for entertaining and relaxing after a day of activities. The primaryr bedroom and bathroom en-suite features a Sleep Number King bed, a walk-in shower, a free-standing soaking tub and walk-in closet. The other two bedrooms have a King bed and two sleep number twins (can be converted into king upon request/fee) beds. Hardwood floors thru-out. The home has central air conditioning in addition to ceiling fans throughout. The outdoor space offers a covered lanai with a table for your eating or game playing pleasure. Also for your outdoor relaxing is a sofa and 4 chairs creating a conversation area.
Just steps away you will find the Holua Kai neighborhood gathering place. This includes a pool, a pavilion, changing rooms, outdoor shower, lounge chairs and seating area as well as the BBQ's and a hot tub. Enjoy the sunset from the lookout where you can appreciate and take photos of the beautiful ocean and Kona sunset.
For activities, a public golf course, Kona Country Club is nearby. Keauhou bay/harbor is nearby for all water activities, such as Manta Ray boat tours, paddle boarding and kayaking. Also, nearby is the Keauhou shopping center that offers shopping, farmer's market, dining and a movie theatre. A short drive will take you to Kahaluu Beach Park, White Sands beach, Kealakekua Bay and many Kona coffee farms.
Property is on-ADA compliant, non-smoking, and no pets are allowed. Minimum night varies seasonally between 5 - 10 nights.

We had a great time in this lovely home. Was described very accurately. Only 4 years old . Easily accommodated six adults. Kitchen was well equipped. Lanai was great with folding wall., Beautiful property close to Farmers Market and Bay. Was a little remote to drive to Kona- 15 minutes

We had a nice stay. The house was great. Spacious and safe property. Driveway is tiny and garage had vehicles already- leaving only a small space for additional parking.
The management company, Kona Coast Vacations(KCV), was not great. We did like the welcome bag. The WiFi stopped working Tuesday. After trouble shooting and no luck we contacted KVC on Wednesday morning and we were told someone would be there that morning. No one ever showed up. I emailed to follow up and they just said “sorry” someone would come the next day. Someone did come while we were out and just took the router. I never received any follow up or explanation from KCV. We had the remainder of our vacation without internet. Cellular service was not great at the house and all the tv’s were WiFi dependent.
The pool was closed for 3 days for an annual cleaning. These two problems took away from our enjoyment and relaxation.
We were not offered any compensation for these problems. Considering the amount of phone calls received form KCV before our arrival, it was odd there was no contact once we arrived and contacted them. I found this to be unacceptable for this high end property.
The property was very nice. I would stay there or a like property in the future. However, I will not stay at another house managed by KCV.

Great rental home, everything was so clean and organized. The garage had extra beach gear we were able to use. We parked one car inside the garage and one outside.
The pool was right across the street and easily accessible to us. The girls loved it. We barbecued one night and ate the food in the cabana. We had a lovely time.
Location was great, nearby Keauhou shopping center to pick up necessities and food.
Overall experience was awesome, we would consider buying a retirement home in this small wonderful community.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay here. The floor plan was perfect giving everyone space - yet also a table big enough for us to enjoy meals together.
Everything you needed was there - the kitchen was well stocked and there were beach chairs and a few toys that were fun for the kids. All in all, a wonderful location and fun stay for all.

The house was so nice and big. The grounds around the place were beautiful too. The rooms were nice an big. The bathrooms were big also. After a day at the beach, it was so nice to come home to the house and relax. And 10 feet away was the pool. So the boys would continue their fun and go over there. We never had to worry about security, the house had a code to get in and the property had a gate. I would stay their again anytime

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kona and the property was perfect for our family of 8. It was in excellent condition, clean and well stocked with everything you could need. The check in process was seamless and we gave no complaints! Would definitely book again!

This house had everything that you can need to make your stay an excellent one. I will be trying to stay here again on my next trip to the Big Island.
