This spacious beachfront condo is a 2 bedroom/2 bath corner unit on the 2nd floor of the 10th (southside) building. The additional large window on the south side provides extra light and views of tropical greenery. Ocean views from the living area and master bedroom are breathtaking. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. King bed in master & twins in 2nd bedroom allows for 4 guests. In-unit Washer /Dryer! There is central A/C. This condo is cool looking and feeling with tile flooring throughout. Prep meals in the full kitchen and enjoy watching the outriggers launch. Or use the property’s gas grills and chat it up with fellow guests; locals call that talking story, a simple aloha kind of thing that enhances every vacation. Flat-screen TVs with complimentary cable, WiFi, local phone; central AC, and ceiling fans. The in-unit washer/dryer is super convenient as is the free parking for 1 vehicle per unit. The resort itself is a real gem. Nestled into a quiet and safe community, the vibe here is one of low-key locals that lets you know you are in an authentic place, not some theme resort. Centrally located in North Kihei, Kihei Beach Resort is a favorite of return travelers. From here you can venture forth with low commute times (15-45 minutes) to enjoy most of the awesome adventures and attractions Maui has to offer. Two long & winding roads - one to the summit of Haleakala & the other through the rainforest heading to eastside Hana. These are longer treks to places remote, but places not to be missed if one can help it. On days you want to stay close to base, stroll the (almost empty) 3 mile stretch of white-sand shoreline north to Ma’alaea. The resort’s 1.3-acre grounds tempt you to stay and relax by the pool, sunbathe on the beach or claim a lounge chair under a palm tree and read a book. From the grounds & pool you have panoramic, and majestic coastline views that extend south to the Makena cinder cone, sweep out across the water past Molokini Crater, neighbor islands Kahoolawe, Lanai and north to Maalaea Bay with its backdrop of stark white windmills marching up the sharp ridges of the West Maui Mountains. During high season (Dec-April) humpback whales (mamas, babies, and guardian males) find shelter in Maalaea Bay; the sight of them breaching is always thrilling. It was lovely to have a corner unit, however, there is a large palm directly in front of the lanai which blocks the main view directly out to the ocean from the unit. The unit was bright, pleasant and well supplied in the kitchen, but a few things need updating and the windows really need to be washed on the outside. The garberator broke 2-days before we left and resulted in water to be cleaned up and a pot under the sink until we left. The couch really needs to be replaced as it was rather smelly. For the price, the living-room furniture needs to be updated.

The unit was in generally good shape. Interesting that the king bed wasn't in the master bedroom. The unit was clean and comfortable. The view from the Lani was great. We loved the access to the beach which has been a favorite of ours staying at other resorts. A few items like the ice maker doesn't work but sufficient trays to do our own. Disappointed that the office wasn't open yet from the recent flood. They are working on it.

This is a great condo, and we enjoyed our stay. The farmers market, bakery, shave ice, and bakery across the street were wonderful. The kitchen was well equipped, and we enjoyed listening to the waves on the lanai. The palm tree in front of the lanai blocks the view a bit, and could really use a good trim. Our only other complaint is that the lanai sliding door doesn’t close properly, which wasn’t an issue for the majority of the time, but there was a TERRIBLE storm the first day, and the living room not only got wet, the wind whistled through the door and drove us nuts. This really needs to be fixed. Otherwise, we had a great stay. I will also note, as a parent of little kids, the pool was pretty cold, and you have to walk through the parking lot to get to the pool and beach. All in all, this was a great condo, and we’d happily come back.

The location was perfect for our family needs, especially the unit. The views were stunning- we have stayed in other places before, and this was by far the best. The unit had everything we needed for a long stay- kitchen items a plenty and over all very clean. Excellent, excellent communication throughout our planning, arrival, and departure. Would return to the same place again.

Spotless upon arrival and had everything we needed to accommodate as our home away from home. As other's already mentioned, twin beds were a bit too firm for my 76yo Mom, but that is truly the only negative. Beautiful unit, and beautiful view with sunsets worthy of applause. Would definitely stay here again!

The unit was perfect for us with a few exceptions shower door in the second bath was not clean and the squeegee for it was laying in the bottom of a tub. The air conditioning was not working properly and we had to call the main office to have a repair service come in and fix it.

Overall nice place. The table was a little small for four people on the outside Lanai, not many amenities, didn't enjoy being in a flood zone and having to move our car out of the area. But it was a great location being right on the beach and the management got back right away and answered all our questions and helped us with our concerns

My husband and are two old teenagers enjoyed a week at Kihei Beach Resort, Unit 210 in December 2022. The location directly on the beach is spectacular, and we walked on the long beach or played in the water most days. You can hear the waves gently crashing throughout the day, wake up to beautiful sunrises, and watch spectacular sunsets. It is also nice to be directly across from the shaved ice stand and an ABC Market. The unit was well-appointed with new bedding, towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, and everything you might need in the kitchen. We also used the property's grills and outdoor lawn chairs. We've been to Kauai a number of times but never had the opportunity to be directly on the beach like we were in Maui. We loved it.

Beautiful property in an unbeatable location. Great views of the ocean, and a short walk down the nearby stairs to access the property and beach. One of the better stocked kitchens we have seen, and mostly newer and remodeled features throughout the condo. A very nice choice for Kihei!
