This spacious beachfront condo is a 2 bedroom/2 bath corner unit on the 2nd floor of the 10th (southside) building. The additional large window on the south side provides extra light and views of tropical greenery. Ocean views from the living area and master bedroom are breathtaking. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. King bed in master & twins in 2nd bedroom allows for 4 guests. In-unit Washer /Dryer! There is central A/C. This condo is cool looking and feeling with tile flooring throughout. Prep meals in the full kitchen and enjoy watching the outriggers launch. Or use the property’s gas grills and chat it up with fellow guests; locals call that talking story, a simple aloha kind of thing that enhances every vacation. Flat-screen TVs with complimentary cable, WiFi, local phone; central AC, and ceiling fans. The in-unit washer/dryer is super convenient as is the free parking for 1 vehicle per unit. The resort itself is a real gem. Nestled into a quiet and safe community, the vibe here is one of low-key locals that lets you know you are in an authentic place, not some theme resort. Centrally located in North Kihei, Kihei Beach Resort is a favorite of return travelers. From here you can venture forth with low commute times (15-45 minutes) to enjoy most of the awesome adventures and attractions Maui has to offer. Two long & winding roads - one to the summit of Haleakala & the other through the rainforest heading to eastside Hana. These are longer treks to places remote, but places not to be missed if one can help it. On days you want to stay close to base, stroll the (almost empty) 3 mile stretch of white-sand shoreline north to Ma’alaea. The resort’s 1.3-acre grounds tempt you to stay and relax by the pool, sunbathe on the beach or claim a lounge chair under a palm tree and read a book. From the grounds & pool you have panoramic, and majestic coastline views that extend south to the Makena cinder cone, sweep out across the water past Molokini Crater, neighbor islands Kahoolawe, Lanai and north to Maalaea Bay with its backdrop of stark white windmills marching up the sharp ridges of the West Maui Mountains. During high season (Dec-April) humpback whales (mamas, babies, and guardian males) find shelter in Maalaea Bay; the sight of them breaching is always thrilling. The views were stunning- we have stayed in other places before, and this was by far the best. The unit had everything we needed for a long stay- kitchen items a plenty and over all very clean. Excellent, excellent communication throughout our planning, arrival, and departure. Would return to the same place again.

Reviewer Comments: The unit was perfect for us with a few exceptions shower door in the second bath was not clean and the squeegee for it was laying in the bottom of a tub. The air conditioning was not working properly and we had to call the main office to have a repair service come in and fix it.

Great views of the ocean, and a short walk down the nearby stairs to access the property and beach. One of the better stocked kitchens we have seen, and mostly newer and remodeled features throughout the condo. A very nice choice for Kihei!

Reviewer Comments: We had no issues with our stay. Only issue is a complaint from the kids that the spare bedroom beds were too firm and somewhat uncomfortable. Other than that the condo was clean and well equipped. Enjoyed the facilities and location of the condo.

We liked that it was centrally located and we could easily get to all the fun things we had planned for our vacation. The condo was clean and had just enough room for our family of 4. The beaches were not crowded and it was quiet as well. We did appreciate that this condo had a washer and dryer in the unit.
