Condo right on Ocean. Felt like the balcony cabin on a cruise ship. Unit very clean & well stocked. I was pleasantly surprised with the beach chairs, snorkel equipment & ice chests. Able to picnic & enjoy our adventures. Easy walk to downtown Kona. Rental price very reasonable. Will definitely return.

Sliding glass door was hard to see through, lots of long term dust build up on all vents in bathrooms and fans. Spent half a day cleaning out the dust in the portable fans to help cool the bedrooms down. No curtains or shades to block out sun in bedrooms. No ac other than window unit in living area that didn’t reach bedrooms. Online photos are very dated and couch is not the same, faucet in extra bathroom barely fits the sink, hand's barely fit under. It was nice location but wouldn’t stay again.
Nice place, guest bath sink was a little wonky to use, other than being a bit outdated it was a great place to stay. We would stay there again.
Definately needs work. Lanai sliding glass doors were impossible to see through due to broken seals as well as just dirty. Window screens were filthy. More attention to detail in cleaning is badly needed.
Enjoyable stay. King bed was soft and no elevator were the drawbacks.
Overall we had a wonderful time and the unit was a perfect home base for our family of 4 while we explored the big island. Beautiful ocean view and plenty of space and amenities for 4 of us. Would be nice if the air conditioner cooled the back bedrooms more and firmer mattresses would be nice. But great overall experience!
The condo has a beautiful balcony view. However, the space is pretty beat up, the appliances are chipped, rusted and stained and space WAS NOT clean, the linens were old, the air conditioning was minimal. Pool was closed and not available.
The location is fantastic and at a great price. The view is amazing. The AC unit was broke and the replaced it within a day. I was shocked by how fast they fixed the problem. My only real complaint is that the place needed a good dusting. There were several portable fans and the intakes were covered with dust. So we had to clean them to use them. The in-room laundry was such a plus. Just know that the dryer capacity is limited so plan your laundry accordingly. I’d highly recommend the place and would stay there again.
The condo is perfectly located with so many amenities within a very short walking distance.
Overall we loves the condo and location. There were a few issues such as the dishwasher leaked and the air conditioner didn't work but overall we enjoyed ourselves. The location was nice and central to town and the unit was close to the pool which was wonderful. We enjoyed the community grills and went to the onsite coffee shop once. The unit was nicely equipped with beach accessories such as coolers, umbrellas, snorkel gear, beach chairs and a boogie board.
We celebrated our 30th Anniversay at Sea Village. This was our 8th stay at Sea Village. The condo was nicely appointed. The location is directly on the ocean. You can't get any better than that. Well kept up grounds, beauitful landscaping all lends to a relaxing tropical vacation. We cooked in quite a bit and had most anything you would need for food prep.
Any beach items you may need were available for big and small kids. Coolers were available both large and small. Handy and we used them alot.
We will be returning in the years to come! Very nice unit.

If you like a kitchen without roaches and sleep without the sound of buffalo running over your head, then look elsewhere. The pool is also full of screaming children at all hours. Would it kill to have an adult hour somewhere? The best part of the property is the grills. It’s the only thing that feels clean. At night you can watch movies (if you like a 24 inch screen with no volume). I would love a partial refund but that isn’t likely. Instead, run don’t walk from this place.
